 We wanted a site situated with easy access to the Pyg track. Tick.
We wanted good value. Tick.
We had access to toilets, showers, dishwashing facilities and drinking water.
What we also had was amazing views before bed and with breakfast.
It’s a CAMP site. Loved it!

Love staying at this campsite. Brilliant location and lovely owners.
Toilet and shower facilities are always clean and amenities great.
Wonderful skip across the road to the pub.
Trails leading straight from the campsite or jump on the Sherpa which stops outside.

Farm campsite, basic but plentiful facilities.
Very relaxed, stunning views. Simple, lovely.
Ps didn't get any response from pre booking request but fine to just arrive.

This site is absolutely marvellous! Facilities are fantastic.
The only thing is no hot water for dishwasher but otherwise flawless and only £10 per night.
Highly recommended.

Brilliant campsite £10 per person per night.
Toilets and showers free to use,
Drinking water available too, bins/buckets for rubbish, directly opposite vaynol arms pub, bus stop to pen y pass directly in front of site, chippy's, Chinese etc 2. 2 miles further down road.
Definitely going again.

Glanllyn is situated on the shore of Lake Bala in Wales. 16 acres of natural parkland and spectacular views of nearby hills and mountains make it an idyllic spot to pitch a caravan, motorhome, tent or campervan with level grass or hardstanding pitches. For water sports enthusiasts there is a private shingle beach with easy launching area for windsurfing, sailing, kayaking, fishing and paddle boarding. Camp shop, wifi, laundrette, excellent heated toilet & shower facilities. The market town of Bala is 3 miles away with plenty of small shops, pubs & retaurants, cinema and a leisure centre. Great campsite at a really good price. Showers where hot and clean. Washing up area cold water only just take your thermos up there.
Owners are very friendly and welcoming. Great location. Very limited phone signal but makes the perfect reason to visit the pub opposite for a nice meal or drink as they have free WiFi.

A campsite full of character, with free range chickens and sheep roaming through the field.
The views are spectacular and you can catch the bus just outside the campsite to Pen-Y-Pass & the easier route up Snowdon.
There weren't enough toilets for a bank holiday weekend, 4 in total! So we used the park & ride toilets across the road. The showers lacked power but they did the job.
It was very chilled out, find your own spot & camp fires allowed. A refreshing change to some of the rule based sites I have stayed on. If you're up for an adventure then this is the site for you.

Very friendly, good toilet, shower and pot washing facilities.
Plenty of space and incredible views all around.

Arrived at 11pm on a Summers Friday night, just pulled up and found a space, went and paid in the morning.
Great little campsite, perfect location, right next to park and ride for snowdon and pub next door.
Shower water was a bit inconsistent but for £10 per night you can’t moan. Definitely coming back

Great little site. Quiet, cheap and a great location!
And they let us leave the tent up until late Sunday afternoon when we had finished our triathlon!
