Love this campsite. Beautiful location, lovely and quiet, and remarkably inexpensive. Good mobile reception too. It was pre-school holidays so just a few people coming and going.

I'm a solo camper and felt perfectly safe there, especially as there are farm cottages close by. Simple facilities were adequate for my purposes, might get busy in high season.

It's a great location for cliff and country walking, close to the coast path. You can walk down to Crackington Haven in half an hour, although it's quite steep going down through the woods.

There's a good pub/restaurant there, best to book - you can of course park there if you'd rather drive. There are also a cafe and shop within walking distance in Crackington village.

Good touring base, easy to drive to Boscastle, Tintagel and Bodmin, or even further afield. Jake the owner is friendly and helpful.

There's a nice feel about the place. Had a very nice stay.

What a great little site. No bar, play area or electric hook up. Perfect for us.

2 loos and a single shower meant sometimes there's a wait but that's what chilling in a field is about.

Made to feel very welcome by Jake.

We'll definitely be back, perfect for a couple of nights away on motorcycles

Great basic, good value campsite. One shower, two toilets and washing up sinks in a shed at the bottom. Was fine when we went because it was not very busy but I imagine it could be a bit tricky at busy times.

Half hour walk to the village. Very steep walk down (and back up obvs). Rural views but no sea view.

Very relaxed and friendly.

We had a lovely evening sat round the fire pit.

Decent roast at the Combe Barton Inn.

Basic, proper camping with campfires allowed.

There are many sites with more facilities, but for us, that isn't really camping!

Toilets were clean, water was hot (including for washing up!).

This is just the sort of site we like.

Jake, the owner, was very helpful.

My daughter and I and our dog enjoyed our stay and will be back!

Loved this site. Very quiet and super peaceful.

Nice location and views of sunset.

Becky was so friendly and helpful as were the other campers.

Best campsite shower we've had for a while.

Great site for hikers.

Near coast path.

Highly recommend.

This was our second stay at this lovely site!

Basic but clean facilities with hot water shower, two flushing toilets and a washing up area. All you need for a nice simple camping experience!

The area is beautiful, peaceful and have the most incredible views of the Crackington cliffs from the adjacent feild.

Jake the owner is helpful and welcoming with a wealth of good recommendations for the area!

There are firepits that are free to use, with bags of logs available to purchase at a reasonable price.

If you are looking for a lovely, no fuss camping experience where you don't feel cramped next to other campers in small pitches, this is the place!

We have loved both our stays here and can't wait to return again.

Great campsite- basic faculties- but immaculately clean and functionable, hot shower, flushing toilets and washing up area etc.

There is a big field to choose a plot from- we had plenty of space and Jake kindly sorted us out with a fire pit- which we were allowed to bring our own wood to- but there is plenty there for purchase.

Really chilled vibe and a nice walk down to crackington.

I intend to return with family in the future.

Excellent location for camping. Perfect facilities on site and a great host Jake who looked after us well.

A path going from the campsite down to crackington heaven beach in 20-25 minutes.

Highly recommended for both the price and location.

Brilliant basic, quiet, rural site. Very relaxed and could choose where to camp in the large field.

Dog friendly. Lovely views and great place to watch the sunset.

Toilets and shower kept very clean. Fire pits and wood available. Jake and Becky who run it are lovely and very helpful.

Sad that Covid stopped us visiting this year but hope to return in 2021.
