Booked this site as it was in the area we wanted to visit in Norfolk. We nearly missed our turn off to go along the 1 mile narrow lane to reach the site. Be careful as there is about 5 bends along the lane where you cant see what's coming down & we met a camper van on the way up but at a point where the camper van could pullover to let us through.

The site has lots of trees which we prefer to be more in the open & was given a pitch with lots of trees around but not directly under.

The toilet blocks looked nice & clean & although a family site we did not see any children while we were there (out of school time)

It was a nice quiet site except for a couple of morning where jets passed over.

A couple of times a week there is a band on & seating was outside, the band plays under a wooden structure.

We found we had to use the car where ever we went. One day went to Norfolk Lavender Farm, what a disappointment as I was wanting loose lavender & they don't sell it. Also at this time of year the lavender fields are bare.

We had lunch one day in a farm barn along the main road to Holt. If going to Holt from the site park on the right hand side on the main road just before you get there, there will be other cars parked there so easy to see where the free parking is as parking in Holt itself is not recommended.

One day we went to Cley, only a small place but nice to walk around & you can walk out on the Cley Marshes to Blakley.

Another time we parked in Blakeney & had a nice walk out where you could walk to Cley & back but too far for me. Both places only small but once on the marshes there is lots of walks & a big free car park in Blakeney.

Fakenham had lots of charity shops & a Tesco, that's it.

E had decent weather while away which makes a holiday so much better.

Wow! What a gem! We visited this site in August 2025 and stayed for 7 nights. The on site shower & toilet block could be lifted straight out of a 5-star hotel.

There is an on-site bar and takeaway which is open Friday - Sunday and also on Wednesdays. Being able to pre-order takeaway meals if you don't fancy cooking is brilliant, and we did take advantage of this on both the Wednesday and Saturday night that we were staying. The food was excellent.

You can also order pastries for breakfast from the on site shop - again we took advantage of this on a couple of mornings through the week - absolutely delicious.

The site itself is immaculate and well looked after. A very peaceful and tranquil site that we would wholeheartedly recommend and would certainly have no hesitation in revisiting.

Thank you so much for a wonderful week.

 Second visit this year.

Great site, great staff, great bar meals and pub

They sometimes have artists or groups on along with a foodie van which was nice.

We stayed here last year and had terrible weather so wanted to return to the area and hopefully get better weather this year.

My review below from last year is still accurate. This is a lovely site and very well placed for touring the north Norfolk coast. We had exactly the same pitch as last year which was nice and level and of a good size.

The toilets and showers are excellent and the site is tidy and very well kept.

I am recovering from a serious knee injury at the moment so I used the disabled shower room quite a bit this year and it is really excellent.

We had great weather this year in contrast to last year’s terrible weather and there is so much to see and do along the north Norfolk coast that we easily filled our two weeks here and were sad to leave.

This is definitely a site we would use again if we return to the area in the future.

A great caravan site in my opinion.

Staff were all friendly and welcoming

Facilities all very clean

Good small bar and food open four nights a week

Shop in reception

We will return.

Only slight niggle was the road leading to the site. It is very narrow but this is not the owners fault

We had a lovely holiday at the Old Brick Kilns, despite absolutely atrocious weather.

The site has a number of different area each with a very different feel. Some areas are very overhung by trees, others are very open and fortunately for us, we had an open pitch so no constant dripping from the trees in the very rainy weather.

Our pitch was perfectly level from side to side so we didn’t need to use levelling ramps but I noticed that some of the pitches on the site were very sloping and levellers would be required. The site coped with the very heavy rain very well.

Our pitch did flood when it rained heavily but the rain was so unbelievable that I can’t imagine a pitch anywhere that wouldn’t. However, when the rain stopped, the water drained away quickly. Other parts of the site also flooded (as I said, the rain was unbelievable, I don’t think this would happen in normal rainy conditions) and the area behind the bar turned into a paddling pool, however, the site team were amazing and they were out getting everything drained and cleared as quickly as they could which was impressive, considering the rain.

The facilities were excellent. There are 3 shower blocks for different areas of the site. The one nearest to us had 3 showers and 3 toilets in the ladies side and the cubicles were large with plenty of space to get dried. The shower taps stayed on until you turned them off which was great as I really hate sites with push button showers. This block also had 2 separate family shower rooms with a shower and basin in each.

Everything was spotlessly clean and tidy and my only complaint about the facilities is that the family shower rooms did not have a very good extraction system and as they did not have windows, when you had a shower, the condensation was not extracted well enough and the walls ended up with water running down them. This was not pleasant at busy times as I would often go into the shower room and it was still steamy and with soaking walls from the previous user. The site really needs to install a much more powerful extractor system to deal with this.

The site has a bar serving food which we didn’t use so I can’t comment on it, but it appeared to be well used with lots of people sitting on the outdoor terrace enjoying a drink when it wasn’t raining. They also had live music on the Saturday evening when we were there. There is also a small shop selling essentials and they do fresh baked pastries in the mornings if you order the day before.

We found the site to be very well positioned for visiting the whole of North Norfolk and we had several great days out, despite the terrible weather. Fakenham is about a 10 minute drive away and just as you turn off the main road into Fakenham, there is a large Morrisons supermarket and petrol station which was very handy for grocery shopping. Holt is about a 10 minute drive in the opposite direction and it is a lovely town with very interesting shops and some lovely cafes.

All in all we thought the site was great and it would get 10 stars from me if the ventilation system was better in the showers. We will definitely use the site again when we return to this area.

Lovely campsite, well looked after by owners. We stayed on adults area which is friendly and quiet and beautifully kept.

Toilet/shower block is new and spotless. All other amenities close at hand.

This area has overhanging trees which tend to drop leaves and bird poo on caravans Which is our only complaint.

This is the second time we have stayed here and will go back.

This is a great site and we will be back. It was a little expensive considering the time of year, but certainly worth the money.

It is set at different levels, surrounded by trees, has an 'adults only' section and is set around a small pond (with fishing available).

Kate and her staff are as friendly and helpful as one could wish to find.

All facilities are clean and well maintained and the most recent build is palatial - hot, powerful showers and a really effective under-floor heating system.

The bar 'Barneys' is open on Friday, Saturday and Sunday at this time of year, and is small, but very welcoming, with a large outdoor seating area for the warmer days.

They serve a limited menu of meals, but those we had were excellent - the Sunday roast was superb. They are served in take-away foil containers and you can eat in the bar if preferred.

There is also a lounge / games room (pool & table-tennis) and a children's play area. The shop is small but has most essentials and cook croissants and pastries to order.

Only one warning - the half-mile access road is very narrow with a couple of 90-degree bends - do-able but with care !

 Impressed with site on arrival.

Staff were friendly and made us feel welcome.

1 shower went wrong and was restored to working condition by following morning.

Nicely laid out.

Dog walk was nice and went round 2sides 0f site at an elevated level.

Thinking this was a CL quite perplexed when we arrived however we were nicely surprised, although for the price would have liked a serviced pitch.

The facilities were excellent, well maintained and spotlessly clean, as were the grounds.

Staff very helpfully and welcoming. Think you need to rethink your menu as choice not good.

Pleased we came.

Lovely site, clean and warm facilities with friendly staff,

We were on serviced pitches including tv connection.

Pitches were large but the roadways are quite narrow,

There are some nice places to visit not far away.

Staff are very helpful and the shop has most essentials.

From the minute we arrived we felt welcome.

The facilities were spotlessly clean and very modern - and so warm! We went in December and it was bliss to walk into a warm shower block!

We ordered pastries for breakfast at the shop and the staff couldn't do enough for us.

There was a lovely dog walk on site too that led to an off site walk through some woods.

It was so perfect we stayed an extra night.

Nice clean, spacious site, plenty of room on the pitches, toilets were both modern and spotless, some groceries in reception but you’ll definitely need to go Fakenham (6 miles approximately) for a bigger shop.

There is a useful takeaway service and a little bar on site which came in handy. The site has an adult area which was perfect for us, the rest of the site was broken up by various glades with a very small fishing lake fenced off in the centre.

Arrival and departure times will definitely need to be observed due to narrow access lane.

Ideally situated centrally on the North Norfolk coast being able to get to most coastal towns within 30-40 mins with Blakeney being a firm favourite.

Blickley Hall Estate (NT) well worth a visit, and a great meal can be had in the pub adjacent.
