Great site with clean and kept clean facilities.

Peace and quiet respected. I know this can’t be done at all times but it was on my past 2 stays.

Staff are always there to help, if needed and will happily deal with enquiries

A large site well laid out

Lots of mobile homes for hire and private

You drive through and the touring section is on its own at the far end with all it's own facilities and good lockside views, but not to close enough to be eaten by the M?

Very clean site with new toilet/shower block.

Only place I could get Wi-Fi was in the Skipper restaurant. We ate here and received a very warm welcome, with delicious homemade food. Prices were reasonable.

We didn’t have a connector for the water tap at our pitch and when we phoned the office for help they only told us there was a hardware store 2. 4 miles away !

The views are good as all pitches face the water.

Excellent site, all with serviced pitches, clean toilet block and great showers. Plenty of dog walks too.

A 2.5 mile walk into Inveraray which was very pleasant along side of loch.

Can’t fault site apart from the rubbish bins were a good walk away, most people seemed to wait till they were leaving to drop it off on way out.

For us it was a great site. The main part of the complex is the very large residential section. But passed that is the caravan site which is not not that big.

However the caravan pitches are amongst the largest I've seen and what is good is that there is hardstanding for the caravan but the awning area is grass which I really like. And the EHU post for each caravan also has a water connection.

The toilet block is basic but clean and adequate.

There are trees and river bank round the site so dog exercising, walking, playing is great. There is a ramp for boat launching into the loch and you can paddle round and into to the river that runs by the camp.

Inveraray is quite close and there is an off road path to walk or cycle all the way, though you do have to cross the main road and there are a few gates to go through.

We had dinner one evening at Skippers in the camp and the food was great and reasonably priced. Not so sure about the drinks price though.

I didn't like the sewage disposal set up. Was potentially, if not actually splashy, yes it was a bit splashy and the hoses for cleaning the cassette were situated a few feet away for some odd reason without a good on off water control at the hose end, making it difficult to rinse/flush the cassette. You really want as easy and splash reducing as possible disposal set up for emptying the cassettes and rinsing out. This wasn't it.

The difficulty of making a booking online should have been a warning sign for us. The site is heavily geared towards statics.

There is a 'touring' area of pitches a long drive through the crowded-together statics but the area is a dusty and rather bleak stretch of gravel and in need of some serious upgrading.

It does have a nice view of Loch Fyne though, and there are paths to walk nearer to the loch. The site is 2 1/2 miles out of town, too far to walk.

The dishwashing sink had the slowest and tiniest drip of water that I've ever encountered.

The showers and loos (2 per gender) are in a cabin that I would certainly hope is temporary. The shower I used was pretty awful, it kept going cold. The hooks for hanging towels and clothing on were of the very smallest, flimsiest and cheapest one could buy.

The reception area and staff there were good, though.

We wouldn't return.

Drive your way through the static caravans and you reach a lovely big open field with level hardstandings and good views next to the Loch. Very quiet and lots of space when we were there.

Walking area next to the shore with neatly mown paths through the long grass. Very peaceful.

We cycled into Inverary along the path on good track with only one stretch(after you cross the road) which became a wee bit narrow but you have the option to go on the road.

Lovely breakfast at Brambles. Easy access to Coop supermarket with van and also 5 designated motor home parking spots just through the archways.

Clean and tidy motorhome service area and toilet emptying. Pity about lack of Shower block and perhaps the price could have been reduced accordingly.

Efficient and easy check in via e mail. But saw no staff during our stay. Didn't visit restaurant.

Phoned to book then had to change booking. No problem.

Very friendly. Good flat hard standing with water and electric.

Very quiet site next to Loch Fyne.

There’s food/drink available on site although we didn’t sample.

Overall fitted the bill perfectly.
