Rang for availability and got in straight away.

Arrived on Friday and couldn’t find anyone to guide us. The large White House has nothing to do with the site so don’t knock on.

We pitched near the large wall and someone arrived in a car which I gather was the warden?

Facilities basic but all work. Lovely walk to the nearest pub The Marton arms in Thornton in Lonsdale. You can hear the traffic from the A 65 but didn’t bother us.

Off lead dog walk next to the site. We visited Ingleton and Kirkby Lonsdale. £22 a night for caravan awning two adults 2 dogs. Value in 2026.

Loads of sites nearby but nothing wrong with this one.

Nice site for one night stopover. Level area offering grass or hardstanding with or without EHU.

Toilets/ showers although dated are very clean. Easy access to water and waste.

Reasonably priced.

Good communication from owners.

Be aware there is constant traffic from the nearby A65, although obviously quieter in the early hours. Didn’t bother us, but light sleepers may find this an issue.

Good stop for short drive to Ingleton waterfall trail.

The trees is beautifully kept and a really pretty site.

Toilets are clean as well and adequate.

The only bad thing for me was the proximity to the main road. Which I did no about but I wasn't prepared for how noisy it was for a light sleeper like me. After the first night we moved pitches because luckily it wasn't busy to the other side which was better. Nothing for children to do here if you have them.

You can walk to ingleton but its a fair trek and the other way no path so car required.

But overall its a lovely site and we would stay again for the money

I like this site, its facilities are very basic but they're clean. The site is pretty much a large lawn of a big house but it's quiet and there's lots of space.

There is a dog walking area which is very handy. It's just over a mile to walk into Ingleton along pleasant back roads.

The only draw backs to the site is the noise of the road, which didn't bother us and the fact it's cash only, but if you're prepared (unlike us) it's not a problem.

Very basic no frills facilities but does the job.

Central position to travel around the area as lots to visit and not far from the Lake District.

Ingleton falls, Skipton castle and Hawes for the Wensleydale cheese factory.

Lovely little site, nice and peaceful, ideal place for visiting Kirby Lonsdale or Ingleton.

Toilets basic but okay for the price we paid per night definitely go back again

 Lovely quiet site,

Had a car to travel into Ingleton as it was just too far to walk on a hot day, but the cost of the site makes up for it being a bit out of the way.

Very quick answering questions via email.

Facilities are ok only 1 shower each for ladies and gents.

Would use again if in the area.

Loved the view and was told to pick my own pitch, so it was great.

No toilet or shower ( which we never use anyway) so it's cheaper.

Enjoyed, so quite

 Lovely clean site.

Toilet and shower with very hot water and vey clean.

Quiet at this time of the year.

Pitches well spaced out. Grass or hard standing.

Reasonably priced.

The site was quite quiet for a bank holiday weekend, which to us was a bonus.

The toilets and shower block were nothing special but were clean and never too busy.

The site is about 1 mile from the nearest pub and about 2 mile walk into town. Lots of walking in the area.

The waterfall walk is well worth a visit.
