A very friendly greeting at a very well organised campsite.
Facilities and clean and well looked after.
Nice setting with the lake, plenty of wildlife and a great dog walk.
Very peaceful. Handy for Knaresborough and local villages.
Enjoyed our stay.

Excellent site, reasonable price, good access to site, staff were fantastic, site was clean and tidy and the toilet block was immaculate.
Dog walk around lake was good. 2 miles to knareborough and 4 miles to Harrogate. Plenty of local pubs but only two advertised through site.
The Royal Oak 2 miles up the road do a fantastic sunday dinner and are dog friendly
Thank you for the owner who let us have a later departure so we could go straight to our storage, lovely lady.

Booked a couple of days before arrival and spoke to a lovely lady who was really nice we arrived Monday so it was very quiet, just what we needed.
The guy who showed us to the touring pitches was really friendly and explained where facilities were etc and we were left to it, much more relaxed than the CAMC sites,
The site is not on electricity top up tariffs which is lovely not to have to worry about how much is left.
The site is well away from traffic and has lovely walks we did the Knaresborough Round walk directly from the site we visited Knaresborough which is always nice including the castle and viaduct…
Would we visit again DEFINITELY thank you Alma and Team for a great experience.

Stayed here purposely to visit Knaresborough & visit friends nearby. Good location for local bus, short walk to bus stop.
Shower facilities were good, comfortable sized cubicles, kept very clean.
Unfortunately due to bad weather cannot comment on area around the site as too wet to wander about, but looked like a good sized play area for children & lake, not sure I if fishing there! Thank you.

This site is in a beautiful quiet location, with small natural pond, rabbits and squirrels.
The owners are very laid back and nothing is too much trouble.
There is only one toilet/shower block, which is extremely clean and tidy but it might present problems when the site is fully booked.
There is no Internet connectivity as the area seems to be a black spot - that didn't bother us but it was inconvenient when trying to look up opening times or book meal reservations.
It's in a great position for exploring the surrounding area and I would highly recommend if you like things peaceful.

What a beautiful and peaceful site,
Well maintained, toilets and showers cleaned daily, on arrival we were well looked after, very informative around bus time table, taxi and takeaway phone numbers, as it wasn’t very busy ( due to the weather forecast I think)
We were able to pitch our camper and awning literally where we wanted which was much appreciated.
All in all a very relaxing and memorable stay, we will definitely return.
