A quiet sheltered site, with beautiful views. We had a grass with electric pitch, the pitches are very generous.

The toilets and showers are spacious and cleaned and restocked regularly.

On arrival the site owner took us for a tour of the site, pointing out locations of the toilet and shower areas, a room for washing dishes and laundry, also equipped with microwave and tea/coffee area and a separate room for indoor games.

We enjoyed our stay here and look forward to returning next time we are up this way.

This is a really nice, small, quiet site with good facilities. I was there to collect parts for my motorhome from Turriff.

Rather than using the site in Turriff, which I had used before, I thought I would try here, as it has a secure dog run. There are some hook-ups available for use, freshwater taps at some pitches and free Wi-Fi.

As well as the dog run, there is also an indoor area with a couple of games tables, plenty of books and chairs to relax on if the weather is not so good.

A camper's kitchen is equipped with a couple of kettles, a microwave, a washing machine and dryer and some crockery and cutlery should you need them.

There is also a store room with various windbreaks, chairs, etc. That can be borrowed. As well as the usual male/female facilities, there is a 'family' bathroom with toilet and shower, which is ideal for families with small children who may need help.

John and Anna could not be more helpful, and their dogs shared the dog run with my dog, having a rare old-time chasing each other around.

At night, it is almost total darkness, which would have been ideal for me using my telescope if it were not so cold in the evenings when I was there.

It is one site that is on my regular visit list now.

Very quiet area, with easy possibilities to visit the coast.

Very friendly, helpful and hospitable owners.

An ideal campsite for dogs with a well-fenced dog walking area and an extra mowed walking path around a field.

There is also a large common room with lots of books and a well-equipped kitchenette!

The sanitary area was very well maintained and met my wishes. Perhaps there will be problems with hot showers when it is very busy.

This camping place feels like coming home!

-------

Excellent site just what we like.

Lovely views and spotless clean. Very rustic and excellent facilities. Plenty information on area.

Wee bit slopping. Excellent closed in dog area as mentioned on other reviews.

Anna very friendly and makes you feel very welcome.

This is a lovely quite campsite which takes you back to caravanning in the good old days, really does have the classic feel about it.

The site has a great dog exercise area which our dog loved. Toilets was spotless and had a rustic charm which we love.

We will definitely be back soon to relax and unwind.

Stayed here with my 4 kids and 2 dogs in our tent and We came with family who had a caravan on the next pitch. Great that we were able to book on site together.

A nice little campsite situated in a quiet area. Was 30 mins from the nearest Tesco and 20 from the nearest Asda.

All I can say about this site is good.

Toilet block was always clean. You can always smell how clean it was and always had soap/ towels/ hotwater. There is limited hot water for showers but if you are sensible ok for what you need.

The little campers kitchen is great. Has a washing machine, microwave ( a godsend when you have a 2 year old ) kettle and stuff you can borrow if needed like a cheese grater and spatula.

Dog walking area is a great idea and brill for the dogs to run and poop without disturbing others.

Elec hookup and water pointers everywhere. Also BBQ and fire pit friendly.

The best thing by far is the Owners John and Anna. You could not have met nicer people who were always present and up for a chat. Always willing to help and if you need anything, you just needed to ask. We bought fresh Duck eggs from him as well as logs for firepit.

This is a great site and you can see how it is looked after and the service from the owners they really care.

We will be back.

Beautiful location not far from the nearest town of Turiff, that has everything you need and a lovely park and boating lake as well as a supermarket.

Very friendly site

Great facilities and new facilities being added

A great campsite in a quiet, rural area.

We used it for 6 nights in June to explore North Aberdeenshire.

The enclosed dog exercise field with a grass cut labyrinth was wonderful.

We particularly appreciated the kitchen facilities with kettle, toaster and microwave.

And no midges!

Excellent site, friendly, helpful owner, lovely views over the surrounding countryside, can't say anything bad about it.

Very handy for the surrounding area which is beautiful.
