 Very clean campsite, lovely lake for fishing, owners very helpful
Definitely recommend, staying here again in a few weeks.
Lots to do around site and very reasonably priced.

Loved it. Peaceful site, walks to pubs and lovely dog friendly field.
My husband enjoyed fishing.
Great facilities although toilets and showers all being in one cubicle meant there was sometimes a queue.
Will be back.

Fir Tree Farm is in a beautiful, peaceful location. Kate (the owner) kindly fitted us in last minute.
Site is well looked after with large clean showers & washing up facilities.
On arrival you stop at the top and ring number, you are then met by Kate or Frank who show you to your pitch. Owners very friendly and can't do enough for you.
There are 2 fishing ponds. My husband had a good day fishing in main one, catching all day!
Site is within approx 20 min walking distance of a pub/restaurant, although some of it is along busy road. There is also a pub in nearby Avon Dassett (10 min drive).
Lots to do in the area. Will definitely stay here again.

Excellent small site, Kate & Frank run a smooth ship (& their a**es off)
Kate can be found anywhere you need her, normally cleaning the 4 shower blocks & wash up area. I loved the shower & toilet in one cubicle for ease, showers hot & powerful.
Frank can be seen darting about tending to everyone’s needs, so cheerful & happy to help. Location is perfect for a quiet break, just what we needed. They are both work horses. We shall return. Thank you

Fantastic site and will look forward to staying again. Kate and her husband were lovely and very accommodating.
Originally booked for 3 nights but decided to extend our stay last night which was simple.
Facilities were good. Main toilet block with 4 cubicles, all including a shower, toilet, sink and mirror. It was flawlessly clean and tidy every time we went - probably the cleanest toilets I’ve ever experienced when camping.
Washing up area with 4 sinks was just outside. There were also portaloos hidden behind some hedges closer to where we were pitched which made middle of the night trips a bit easier.
All dogs must be on leads and there’s a dedicated dog walking field.
I would have loved a little area for the kids to go off and play. Kids were often playing on the road coming down into the site (not extremely busy but we had a couple of near misses) which might of been avoided if there was a more child friendly area for them.

Very peaceful and overlooking the fishing lake.
Well priced for a short holiday.

Lovely site, with pitches set on a tiered hillside. Tent pitches below the fishing lake (with EHU). Caravan/Motorhome hardstanding and grass pitches above and below the fishing lake. To one side of the lake is the well appointed facilities block.
We had our mWe arrived after the storms that broke the recent dry spell and whilst we were there we had some epic thunderstorms pass through. The site is very free draining so there was no problem getting off the grass.
The hard standing pitches are flat and gently sloping and the grass area where we were had a gentle slope to the side. We needed to use our leveling ramps to get level from side to side.
Beautiful site in a great location for all of the attractions in Warwickshire.

What a lovely site situated on different levels with a fishing pond at the bottom which was well stocked with big fish from what we could see surfacing

When arrived at campsite, we had to phone to be shown to our large site, We had tent with electric hook up, fairly level by a hedge. The whole site is hilly with fishing lake, very well laid out.
The facilities where very clean, 4 large rooms each containing shower stall, hooks for clothes, bench, sink & toilet. Soap and paper towels provided. There was also a washing up station and boot/ dog wash. There were also numerous porta loos but we didn't use them.
Footpaths were straight from site, there was also a large field with a dog walk track mown around the edge.
We visited the National Hern centre just down the road, lovely tearooms.
WE did a lovely circular walk from Uplands House (about 8 miles)
The campsite is about 5 miles from Banbury, well worth a visit.
This is now our favourite campsite and cant wait to return.

Such a lovely peaceful location - great for dogs as there is a generous dog walking field and there was also a great walk we found on Alltrails that took us to Ratley, Edgehill and Wardington.
Services were clean and nice - bathroom with shower, loo and sink was nice home from home treat.
Short 1/2 mile walk to The Falcon which is dog friendly and has food available most of the time every day - some lovely beers too!

Excellent stay as always with welcoming hosts, amazing views, walks, and the local National Herb Centre only a short walk away that has food to die for.
Well worth a stay on this historic site (Battle of Edgehill).

Came as a solo traveller trialling my roof tent and annexe for the first time. Kate was amazing, she met me in the car park, showed me the best flat pitch with a great view and reassured me if I needed any help or advice that she or her husband will be available.
The site was so, so peaceful, great views, the showers and toilets were spotless and there were portaloos dotted around if needed. More than reasonable price (£25 for one night and an extra £3 for EHU).
Although the next morning became busy quite quickly with families (sunny bank holiday weekend), Kate told me not to rush and to take my time.
Couldn’t have picked a better spot to have my maiden voyage with the roof tent. 10/10 and will definitely return!

Lovely site, been regular visitors for 15 years or so.
Views are fantastic and many walks from the site.
The atmosphere has changed in the last few years with most of the pitches taken over with permanent HS2 workers.

Lovely, quiet site. It has 2 fishing lakes which my husband was able to use with no extra cost.
The toilets and showers were very clean and the showers were hot.
It is situated on a slope but the pitch we had was quite level.
Lovely area with lots of quiet lanes ideal for cycling.
