Can’t say I had any issues as previous post regarding the wardens though I thought one was a bit miserable and they could all do with a jolt of happiness.
Enjoyed my stay, nice, clean facilities.
Easy walk into Clitheroe though we often used the nearby C2 circular for transport allowing us to enjoy the great pubs there.

This was our fourth visit to the site. On arrival I was asked if I’d been before, and when I mentioned the previous Scottish warden, I was told rather bluntly that he had passed away “on site, thank God. ” I found that comment unnecessarily harsh — to be honest, I would have preferred the previous warden’s approach any day.
The new management seem to have introduced what I can only describe as a petty regime, with constant patrols and an over-zealous focus on enforcing rules. The light-hearted witch theming, once a nice touch referencing the Pendle Hill witches, has also sadly been removed.
The location itself is pleasant, though the site is compact and pitches are fairly close together. The shower blocks require a code and have push-button showers that cut out repeatedly, which is frustrating. Facilities are quite basic: the motorhome service point doesn’t even provide a hose, and there are no dog wash stations.
On the positive side, the River Ribble is nearby with plenty of good circular walks, and you can reach town in about 30 minutes either by road or via routes along the river.
Overall, this site could be excellent, but under the current management I can no longer recommend it — and I won’t be returning anytime soon.

Lovely greeting from the warden at the gate, we were with a DA meet so showed to our pitch by the marshal.
Great motorhome service area, toilet and shower block lovely and warm and always spotlessly clean.
Nice walk into the town which was lovely with lots of independent shops and cafes.
Nice walk along the river but was a bit wet due to the recent heavy rain
Would recommend a visit and will be going again at some point

We booked a hardstanding and were offered a choice by the very helpful lady warden.
Pitches are a little shorter than some but we were advised to let the rear of the van overhang onto the grass.
As it had been very wet they asked us not to park on the grass, which was no problem There was room on the hardstanding.
Sanitary facilities were spotless with good hot showers, pushbutton but temperature can be adjusted to suit.
Site free wifi worked reasonably well. Phone and TV signals were fine.
It's a 25 minute walk into the nice town which has plenty of pubs and cafes, a good range of shops and a market.
The castle is worth a visit with nice gardens and views from the top.
The site is next to a park and by the river so plenty of places to walk.
The Edisford Bridge pub close to the site does good food and has very friendly staff.
The site is ideally placed for drives into the Pennines with great roads and spectacular scenery. We had some very wet weather some days so, were not able to travel as much as we would have liked but still had a good time.
Definitely coming back!
You have to drive through town to get to the site so care is needed due to parked vehicles. There is a railway crossing on the route, take it very slow crossing it. It's very bumpy.

Laverick Hall Caravan Site - Lancaster
This touring site offers spectacular views towards the Lake District and Morecambe Bay, with Blackpool Tower also in the distance, yet located just over 3 miles from Junctions 34 and 35 of the M6 motorway. Visitors will find just 10 electric pitches for motorhomes and touring caravans, with access to the superfast Wifi, toilets with sinks, a shower room and fresh water taps. Dogs are allowed and there is a designated field for walks.
The local village of Halton is a mile away from the site, offering a convenience store, newsagent, pharmacy, post office and fish and chip shop. The market town of Carnforth is 3 miles away, with its train station (featured in the 1945 film Brief Encounter) and supermarkets. The seaside resort of Morecambe is within 5 miles and the Lake District is only 35-minutes drive. Find out more here

Travelling as two mums with kids.
We liked:
The friendly staff
Very clean facilities
Location next door to park with sports field and play area, plus mini train
Walk of about 20mins into town, kids loved the skate park and castle museum.
Nice pub a five minute walk away from site
Flat pitch for tent and well drained.
Nice smooth roads around site for the kids to scoot or bike
Thai restaurant about ten mins walk away absolutely lovely.
Less keen on:
Sewagey smell wafting over our pitch a few times a day as we were right next to toilet block waste disposal (we weren't bothered too much as only staying one night but would have asked to move had it been longer).
Much more a camper van or caravan site so not the same tent camaraderie as is often pleasant.
Having to enter a code to use the loos is a right pain.
Not relevant to us but other people might want to know
Quite a lot of dogs on site
Grab rails in all showers and a seat are a great idea.
Good late leaving time of noon.
River with shallow sides / rocky style beach next to site good for paddling.
Overall a perfectly pleasant site for those who like it quiet.

Really lovely little site. Very green with an abundance of trees bushes and flower pots. Also some interesting witchy sculptures dotted about.
Toilet blocks both spotless and never had to queue for a shower. Plentiful hot water~push button shower but with temp control.
Hard standing pitches just wide enough for our caravan and small awning but had to park car across the front of the pitch.
Pitches nicely separated by wide areas of grass but the tent pitches looked a bit small.
Very good weather so streams of people passing the site to get to the picnic area with easy access to the shallow river.
Edisford bridge not far away but Road has no pavement and is very narrow with fast flowing traffic. Walk into Clitheroe took about 25 mins. Along paved roads and streets Holmes’s Mill has bowland food and beer hall.
Exceptionally busy due to the weddings being held at the venue. Interesting brewery equipment still there and lovely cool place to have a drink on a hot day.
Clitheroe very well served with supermarkets and has a very good artisan bakery. Can recommend the Emporium for delicious breakfast and Toms Table for evening meal as a treat.
Loads of dogs as obvious proximity to good walking facilities for them so we probably wouldn’t return to this particular site, but that’s our choice and no reflection on the very friendly and efficient wardens
