I recently stopped over at this caravan and motorhome park and was impressed with the clean, wide, and well-serviced pitches - a mix of gravel and grass, all with access to water, electric, and waste facilities in one convenient location.
The whole site was clean and tidy to be fair.
There's a tennis court.
The bar and reception staff were friendly, and the selection of drinks was good. The location is great, with easy driving access to beaches, restaurants, and pubs.
However, there were a couple of downsides: the pool was closed (though it was early in the season), and I wish I'd been warned about the noise levels. A new housing estate is being built next door and it's very noisy - not ideal for a relaxing stay.
Overall, I'd recommend this park once the building work is finished, but for now, it's a bit of a no-go for me. Hopefully, it'll be a different story in the future.

We have stayed before. There were a lot more tents and kids this time, but no problems. The pool seemed very popular.
There are not a lot of toilets and showers but despite the number of guests we always got in. They are clean and tidy, apparently won an award this year. In the gents the third shower always had water running out across the main floor, presume a temporary problem which will be solved.
The staff were very friendly and helpful.
The free WiFi was useless in camping area.
Our pitch was very uneven it took a while to level the van.
Aldi 5 minutes up road by car.
You can walk to Seasalter beach, but the lane is narrow. 15mins.
You can walk in to Whitstable, via road or beach both down that lane. At least 30mins.
Faversham, Herne Bay, Margate and Canterbury an easy drive. via mobile
Pitches are a reasonable size & shower block was clean, though cold due to the door remaining open for covid safety. Nowhere to put toiletries in the shower, needs a shelf. Also no hand dryer or paper towels in the family bathroom.
Sited close to the motorway, the road noise is very very loud.
Walk towards SeaSalter for the number 5 bus, or up to the medical centre for the number 4 (mon-sat) Beware Church Lane is narrow & locals use it as a rat run.
Take a low power kettle! despite rarely having an issue at any previous site, we could not make a cuppa without tripping it. Definitely not the 10amp stated, and the site was only about 1/4 full. Hubby had to stand by the trip switch every time, waiting for my thumbs up!
We booked this seven nights holiday back in 2019 due to the Covid pandemic it was pushed back to July 2021, A gentleman rang me two weeks before we were due to arrive and told me the toilets was open but the showers was not going to be open (according to the government it was ok for these to be open with precaution in place) I asked it I could cancel and was told yes but, we would have to pay for the first night and any other nights that was not re-booked by some one else, I said I would ring him back.
After checking other campsite in the area, I could not find any vacancies for the full week, The next day I rang them back, I spoke to a Ladies and she said I could cancel and get a full re-fund, I said to her there was no vacancies around that area as we were meeting up with a group of friends for the week, I asked if we could get a part re-fund on the £34. 00 per night, Seven night stay due to the facility’s not been fully open, she said no.
On arrival we were given a map that showed our pitch number, the site was full and trying to reverse the caravan was just too tight we did our best to get it in place but that was not possible due to the ground been very soggy (Not the sites fault as it was raining before we got there)
It said the pitches was flat and level, that was not the case most of the pitches are on a slope, ours was very sloping and we had to use the caravan leveler to sort this problem out, however this was also sinking as the ground was very wet,
The toilet was clean most of the time, the swimming pool had to be pre-booked according to the signs, we did not try the other facilities on site.
We were very disappointed with this site and will not be returning.
Just 15 minutes from Ashford and 25 minutes from fabulous beaches, you'll be ideally placed for exploring the Garden of England. The park is divided into a family area, that is close to the play parks, the sports field and the games room, and a peaceful adult-only area in The Meadows, that is ideal for couples. A range of grass and hardstanding pitches, fully serviced or non electric, catering for all sized of tents and caravans.
On both areas you will enjoy five-star, centrally-heated showers, and private cubicles with toilet, hand basin, dryers etc. Laundry and campers kitchens, a large childrens playground, sports field, games room and television lounge. The park has CCTV and WiFi is available for a small fee. A dog walking area is provided on site. Find out more here
Initial impressions were good, friendly reception and decent sized pitch, fully serviced and well kept.
The toilets were spotless and although showers were closed, due to covid, the washrooms and toilets were well maintained.
The clubhouse was run well with good service and very reasonable prices, the pool adjoining was a medium size but but a charge of £1. 50 per person per hour was in place along with £3. 00 per hour for use of the Tennis court.
A bus stop within walking distance was a bonus as we travelled into nearby Whitstable where parking is dificult and expensive.
Those were the positives, the downside for us was the road noise from the nearby Thanet way and a group of travellers had met up and decided to talk loudly at 12. 45 in the late evening also not bothering to wear a mask in the clubhouse and the staff never enforced the rule but there was no other problem.
A small petty (in our eyes) was a charge of £5. 00 per night for using a pop up Gazebo but, we could erect our full size awning free as considered part of the unit which for 2 nights was not worth it.
All said though we would use the site again with a campervan as a tent or trailer tent would be too noisy to get a decent nights sleep.
The camping field is well maintained and the facilities are brilliant. The showers are to die for with properly adjustable constant hot water. They are large with a separate space for drying off. If I had one suggestion for improvement, it would be to include a small shelf in the shower for your soap and bottles. The toilets were clean and tidy.
Each good size pitch is fully serviced with water and electricity, plus a night light so that you can see where you're going when you come back in the evening.
The club house is also a blessing, serving drinks and basic (burgers and hot dogs) food.
There is also a swimming pool on site, but we didn't use this.
Covid safety was faultless. Very friendly and professional.
Had a lovely long weekend here end of September, price was £23 night with ehu, on a fully serviced pitch. Pitch number 23 was great with the latest evening sunshine of possibly the whole site. The facilities really are the best we've had, very large shower cubicles, it all looks very new.
We chose this site to do 'The crab & winkle' bike ride to Canterbury, about 15 mile round trip, plus another 4 miles to get to and from Whitstable. The weather was lovely so made for a good day out.
Whitstable park run on Saturday morning was good, followed by breakfast at the beach cafe.
The bar and pool were open, we had a very swift half and sat out front of the bar, all seemed ok.
£10 barrier deposit required.
Would definitely visit again, although the peak prices not so good per night.
Only access the park from the A299, DON'T go left out of site if towing as very narrow.
Okay so the children were our grandsons aged 7 & 8 years, but this is a nice clean site that manages to cope well despite there being a low number of toilets.
In addition there is a family room & disabled facilities which lighten the load. We made use of a porta loo& the chemical point is excellent.
The site is well maintained & the staff to us were friendly & polite. The pitches are well laid out & grandsons enjoyed the 5 a side pitch & tennis court & no doubt would have enjoyed the pool but a injury off site prevented this.
The food in the club house compares in price to pub equivalents as did the bar. Good weather always help when camping & there are numerous castles, cathedrals within easy travelling.
Less than 5 minutes you have the choice of Aldi, Tescos & a Co-Op. The boys already want to go back which must be a plus for any site.
Yes there is a little traffic noise but that soon fades away.
Third time we have stayed here. Toilets and showers excellent, very clean. Make sure you turn the knob quickly to get warm/hot ASAP, or you get woken up with a cold blast. None of the press button every few seconds and a shower curtain to keep drying/dressing area drier, big plus in my book. If they were full with camping units there could be some queues, no problem in mid June.
Although grass was kept short somehow there was little of the usual detritus that gets everywhere in awnings and vehicle, another plus.
You can use the clubhouse for a drink, reasonable prices and there may be entertainment, Friday only when we were there.
Walk to beach in 10-15 mins, take care on narrow lane. Bus stop at local CooP at end of lane, number 6 has a regular service up to 2 an hour, goes to Canterbury via Whitstable and Tankerton. You can walk to Whitstable along the beach a good 30 mins plus the 15 mins to beach.
Canterbury has an excellent Park and Ride.
The nearest main supermarket is Aldi on main road, you can walk not far but not paved all the way.
