 Llys Derwen was a great find being well located for visiting Snowdonia, Anglesey, the Llyn Peninsula, Harlech and of course Caernarfon.
The site is spaciously laid out, well managed, and has excellent facilities - the showers were the best we came across during a 6 site tour of Wales.
Highly recommended.

What an amazing site made all the more pleasant by Nathan.
After arriving on a flatbed he went out of his way to assist us - even finding a mechanic.
Afterwards he made sure that everything worked and we were able to drive.
The campsite if well located in a quiet area and Snowdon is very close by.
The dog walks from the campsite are really good - as is the dog exercise field.
All the facilities are well kept and very clean.
This is a top class campsite.

I stayed for two nights while on a trip to climb Snowdon with friends.
The sherpa bus is right around the corner and drops you off near the foot of the mountain.
It means you wont need to worry about finding/ paying for parking when you get there.
Nathan was great, both before and during the stay.
The field was comfortable and the amenities were great!

Absolutely fantastic site… The owner Nathan was so welcoming. I had a problem with my caravan as fairly new to it and he was more than happy to help.
The site is situated between Llanberis and Carnarvon which was ideal for us. Local pub which serves food not to far and within walking distance.
The site is well maintained, amenities were spotless
Will definitely be returning

Excellent site,
Really helpful staff and great base for walking in Snowdonia.

Fantastic site in a great location.
Pub in walking distance that also did food.
Caernarfon 20 minutes drive.
Would definitely recommend,

Beautiful setting very well looked after ground's.
Very well lit at night. Multiple recycling bins around the site.
Extremely clean toilets and shower block soap and toilet rolls provided. Dish washing area washing up liquid provided and a chest freezer if needed.
Host was really lovely.
We can't wait to go back.

This is a lovely site, just right for a touring touring base.
Excellent toilet block with very clean pitches and well run by its friendly owner.
We have been coming hear for a number of years now and the high standards still continue.

First time in Snowdonia and we were not disappointed,
The campsite is lovey and clean as well as all facilities.
Our stay was made even better by the hospitality from Nathan and Emrys,
I can not recommend this site enough! 10/10

Beautiful site, always clean,
Staff Nathan and Emrys very helpful, knowledgeable of the area and friendly, even giving weather forecast on iPhone!
Site ideally placed to explore the area, close to Zip world, Snowden, Llandudno, Portmeirion and Conwy. Loads to do in a short distance for all ages,

A lovely campsite would highly recommend.
Emrys and the team were very helpful throughout it all, from booking to arriving.
Very friendly. Couldn’t fault it, very clean and tidy with hot showers.
Prime location to Snowdon too. Would stay here again.

We were a group of 5 adults, had 1 campervan and 2 tents on our pitches.
Loved this site: staff were excellent and couldn't do enough for us.
Bathroom Facilities & washing up facilities were also excellent & spotlessly clean at all times.
There’s a laundrette too but we didn't use. 3 beautiful, well laid out fields offering hook up plus a dog walking field.
We shall be returning to this site again as its in a perfect spot for walking and exploring the surrounding Snowdonia National Park.
Thank You Emrys & staff for your wonderful hospitality and super service.

Immaculate and quiet site located near many attractions such as Caernarfon castle, Greenwood, Zipworld, and Snowden. Had a great day out at Portmeirion too.
Warm welcome from Emrys who was very helpful and friendly. Nothing was too much.
Facilities were very clean and plenty of hot water.
Pitches were a large and only minimal levelling needed.
Will be our recommended site for North Wales.
Well done Emrys and family for a great site and Thankyou for a great stay.
