I don’t really want to leave a review for this lovely terraced campsite with a very helpful site warden in case it gets so booked up I can’t come back!
The facilities are simple, but the water in the showers and wash ups is hot and although not new it’s all clean.
Great dog walks nearby as well as all the Shropshire attractions.

Good location, close to formal atractions like Ironbridge and plenty of walks in the area. Short walk into town (alongside fairly busy road or via footpath in woods) for shops and cafes/pubs.
Facilities OK - only used the shower as we have onboard facilities. Could perhaps do with an update.
Pitches not divided other than small marker: one night we had awning from neighbouring caravan pitched very close to our unit.
No motorhome grey waste disposal other than a bucket borrowed for the purpose from the dishwash area, and fresh tap some distance from roadway so need a longish hose - not a problem for a short stay, but could be inconvenient for longer stays.
Site is quiet at night, and access is via a security barrier.
Very helpful and friendly welcome.

Absolutely great. Location is 5 to 10 minutes walk to the town centre.
It is tucked away from a road so its quiet and peaceful. From the site there are numerous walking options.
Pitches are roomy and on layers making the site seem les cramped than others. Facilities ate clean and work well.
The lady that meets and greets is lovely helpful and can't do enough.
All in all one the best sites I have visited an would definitely go again.

Visited in early May. Nice little site if a little basic. Good sized pitches with only 10amp electric. A couple of water taps scattered around.
Toilets are basic and tired in need of upgrading. Little hut with a kettle toaster fridge for campers to use which is a good idea.
The sites biggest asset is its location, a 10 minute walk into Much Wenlock which is a lovely village with 5 pubs, butchers bakers spar cafes plus other small shops.
Plenty of history in the village. Great walks around the area plus Shropshire in general.
Bridgnorth and Church Stretton are nice towns to visit.
It was a bank holiday so the site was busy, probably struggles to provide for children but they just seemed to enjoy going around the road on their bikes.

Small/medium site.
Meticulously and thoughtfully run with everything you could need down to microwave and toaster in the washing up area in case you left yours at home.
Clean and tidy washing facilities. Makes such a difference when site owners care. - thank you.
Ideal site for visiting amazing world heritage site at Ironbridge.

A lovely, peaceful, clean campsite. It was reasonably priced and owners very friendly and helpful.
Beautiful scenery and borders onto the lovely village of Much Wenlock.
There was lots to do in the area, such as Ironbridge and it's museums and Telford.

Campsite is well set out on terraces. We were non Elec but there was a microwave, small fridge freezer, kettle and toaster available to use in the wash up shed which were useful. There was some spare crockery and stuff to borrow too.
Wash-up had two sinks with drainers and cloths and w/up liquid too, plenty hot water.
Toilets and showers adequate for the site size, shower heads very small so I found it helpful to have a sponge or washcloth with me too help rinse off.
Everywhere kept clean and equipment available for you to help with that.
Altogether a great site and area to be in.
We explored local area via walks, Saturday there is a market in the town centre and some very interesting buildings you can go around.
There are plenty of places to eat in the town and a week stocked Spar mini market & PO as well as a good general store at the Shell garage.
Ironbridge, Shrewsbury are all quite close and various English Heritage & National Trust places of interest. We enjoyed Wroxeter Roman Town.
My only slight criticism would be that the sinks in the ladies toilet block were a bit high up and set back for a 5 ft person and children would need steps to reach them, it wouldn't stop me going again 🙂

We were greeted by a lovely lady at reception. We were guided to our plot which we found to be generous in area.
The site is very well maintained, nicely kept lawns, wonderfully quiet and peaceful.
The facilities were only a short distance away. The washing up hut was very nice. The thoughtful owners had thought of supplying washing liquid and the use of kettle and microwave. A nice touch! Not seen seen that before.
The showers and toilets were very clean. Although the showers were nice and hot, I found I had to run around a bit to get wet. The shower tray was very slippery. These are the only negatives I could think of.
We left this site with very positive feelings. The location is perfect for exploring the region.
We would certainly stay again.

Good location to Much Wenlock, tidy site.
Facilities could do with being roomier. They definitely have the room to do this, hand shower tidy fell off as soon as I put showe gel in it, it was a cheapy and held on with a rusty screw.
No recycling facilities, stating that it gets sorted by refuse facility. If you saw what was in bins, I find that hard to believe! Took recycling home, I just don't understand in this day and age why this is not the norm?

Wanted a nice quiet campsite for me and the mutt.
And this fitted the bill. What a wonderful place.
Grass was cut short and it is a very well maintained site.
I got a very friendly welcome and I was showed to my (huge) pitch. I had a 3 man tent and could have put another 3 on my pitch !
Shower block and pot wash area always clean and the pot wash had a fridge, microwave and a toaster.
Excellent value (£11 per night for me and the dog - no EHU)
There is a kissing gate at the bottom of the site leading onto footpaths where dogs can have a good run. To the left, over a small bridge, is a lovely woodland walk into Much Wenlock (about a 10 minute walk). And to the right there are miles and miles of footpaths. Me an the mutt took in some truly stunning scenery. Shropshire at it`s finest.
Much Wenlock has 4 pubs. The George and Dragon being by far the best and very dog friendly. The Fox was very good too and again very dog friendly. However staff at the Talbot were quite snotty and `tolerated` dogs in the beer garden.
Would I go back to this campsite ? Yes !

We were met at reception on arrival at this lovely picturesque and well kept park by a very pleasant lady who was managing the site.
The toilet and shower block were exceptionally clean and we will definitely be booking again.
We found that the cost was also very reasonable and the site was very central to all the museums which we had wanted to visit.
