I’m agreeing with Fiona W. Below. The site remains good but we all miss the nice touches of the previous owner. The wooden sculptures, the games room, the fresh flowers, the perfect grass.
Tthe amperage to pitches has been reduced, so don’t dare to switch on your kettle while you’ve on the heating or another appliance or you’ll trip the post. Laundry Room was locked while we were there.
For some reason ( probably the absence of a warden) the gates are closed when the day attendant leaves. Poor communication by email or telephone.

Our first visit to a favourite site since the long-term owner (Bill) died in March 2024 (I believe). Overall, little changed e. G. Same security code gate into the park for dog-running and the play area, or a short-cut to Carnoustie; 15 mins walk from pubs & eateries & beach, bus stop for Dundee.
Differences: Bill let you choose your pitch, it's now allocated - you can express a preference on the booking form; the welcome from the new owner was warm. Bill lived on site in the one static, he was always out & about; staff now arrive at late morning toilet cleaning time, leaving at the end of office hours; there's a phone number up in the window if needed. No flowers in the washrooms now, but they're still shiny clean & warm, with free showers, and closed at a reasonable time (11-1).
The Games Room is shut permanently - a pity for people in tents on a rainy night - but there's still coffee & tea (and milk!) available free in the laundry. Free Wi-Fi, worked well.
Illogical touring pitch pricing - grass & EHU, and huge flat fully serviced H/S: both cost £35pn.
The biggest change may be towards children - their cycling round the tarmac circuit was never a problem to us, over the decades we've been coming. The page of Rules now states "children must only ride bicycles / ride on toys in outside rear park for safety with moving vehicles and not to cause a nuisance to other guests". The new owners' other site a few miles away is adults only in its touring area.

A site we have used before and enjoy because it is comparatively small and compact.
It is within easy walking distance from the Carnoustie high street shops and hospitality establishments.
An extensive sports establishment is a little further and a couple of links golf courses.
Longer walks exist passing through the town.
The site staff are extremely helpful and pleasant.

Excellent little site right on the edge of town.
Responded very quickly to my email request that day.
Site was very secure with screened walls and fences and secure PIN codes for entrance and amenities.
All facilities were very clean and effort had been made for extra little touches here and there.
Owner/operator was on site and very helpful with regards to any enquiries.
Large selection of eating out options within a 10 minute walk of the site.
I would have no hesitation in recommending this site to anyone or using it again myself.

A nice quiet site. Good facilities and thoughtful extras such as kettle and microwave for the use of campers.
Would help if a designated dog walking area was available as I saw a few campers who just let their dogs foul camping area.

There’s nothing to dislike about this site.
We were a little disappointed that the recreation room was out of use for refurbishment but it didn’t spoil our stay.
Very impressed with the shower and toilet facilities. There were many and all very clean.
A lovely welcome on our arrival too.
A nice flat pitch too.
The site is handy for a walk into town or to the beach.

Excellent, small, site in Carnoustie.
Pitches are well spaced and level. Many are fully serviced.
Toilet facilities are spotless.
Owner very nice and helpful.
Short walk into Carnoustie, downhill, and there is an hourly bus to Dundee /Arbroath just outside the site.

Stayed here for 2 nights a warm welcome from owners. Site is Immaculate as is toilet/ shower block.
Only downfall is no wee shop on site and to far to walk into town with being slightly disabled.
Will definitely go back more prepared next time.
Would highly recommend.

This is a beautiful site. We chose a grass pitch with ehu for our campervan and awning and it was nicely level.
The facilities were spotless and the extras were a nice touch, eg use of a fridge/freezer, microwave, kettle, toaster in the campers kitchen.
A very comfortable lounge / pool room with a TV, and a heater for colder nights.
A gate leads out to a park with a play area and football pitch, and takes you to the town centre and beach in a few minutes walk.
The grounds were very well kept and the site was surrounded by a high wall making it feel nice and secluded.
Highly recommend.
