We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The campsite and sanitary facilities were clean and well-maintained.
A definite plus was the heating. Communication, check-in, and check-out were seamless.
We had no problems with the dogs, and there were lovely walking trails right from the campsite.
The path to Gordon Castle, where we were headed for the Highland Games and the Gordon Setter Meet, was also easily accessible on foot.
The only difficulty I encountered was the prepayment for the first night, as I couldn't pay by phone (as is customary there) but had to transfer the amount, which resulted in higher fees.
-----
Wir haben die Tage dort genossen. Der Campingplatz, sowie die Sanitäranlagen waren sauber und gepflegt. Ein Plus war, dass die Räume beheizt waren. Kommunikation, Check in und Check out verliefen reibungslos.

First time on this site and its a lovely location.
Very good pitches and toilets/showers.
Even though not far from the main road it is very quiet.
We will definitely come here again.

Good sized hard standing pitch with water & waste points on pitch. (Serviced pitch)
Lovely new modern toilet block, warm & spotlessly clean. Especially liked the two proper hairdryer & free in toilet area a big plus for me.
Reception very friendly & helpful with eateries etc in Fochabers. Easy walk into town, with 2 supermarket, eateries & shops.
Garden centre very close to site, with cafe etc, nice to wander around if weather not so good.

We were greeted with a very friendly reception and given a choice of a few pitches.
The new toilet block was heated and lovely.
There are numerous walks straight from the site which suits us as dog walkers.
It's an easy stroll into the village where we sampled a lovely dog friendly coffee shop and a tasty fish and chip shop!
Would definitely recommend this site and will return.

The tent areas on this site are arguably the best area - on grass near the wood. We were not bothered by midges.
Toilet block facilities are lovely.
Children's play area is nice, with an indoor playroom too. Staff are incredibly friendly and helpful.
Would happily return.

Lovely site. Staff very friendly and helpful. The pitches have plenty of space so you don't feel crammed in.
Facilities very good and very clean. Site is also nice and quiet.
Will definitely be coming back and would strongly recommend to family and friends.

The camp site was lovely but when we asked the female warden if there was midges, she said there hasn't been for weeks. Just a few minutes into setting up our tent we had to stop and spray ourselves. We were bitten all through our stay.
Don't think we will be back. Sorry.

Lovely peaceful, well kept site, Renovations that have been done so far are fabulous, Lynne in site office was extremely helpful in every way possible.
Unfortunately we never got very good weather (nothing to do with site lol)
If I was to be very picky I felt prices were slightly high considering it wasn't high season yet
