A small site (10 pitches), but level & entrance directly onto A38. Owners not present when we arrived, but our name was on a board saying which pitch we were allocated.
A spacious pitch, for caravan & awning on the gravel & the car along the front of the caravan – though have to be careful to avoid the solar lights stuck at intervals in the grass between pitches, and some decorative stones.
The road noise is almost constant, even during the night. Although when there were a few minutes of silence I began wondering if the road had been closed off! I didn’t sleep much because of the road noise & also because it was very hot weather!
Consistently at least 24° at 11pm! The toilet/shower facilities consist of 4 cubicles: men’s toilet, ladies’ toilet & 2 showers in between; these appear to be unisex but there are a few spare toiletries in each in case you have forgotten your own: the ones in the shower cubicle next to the men’s toilet are in a black toiletry bag & are male scents, whereas the shower cubicle next to the ladies’ toilet has a pink toiletry bag with female scents! The decoration in all 4 cubicles is homely & always clean. Very powerful hand dryer!
There is a fold down seat in each of the shower cubicles, a big mirror & a shower curtain (with tie back!); there are maybe 3 more hooks in the one next to the men’s toilet than the other.
The shower is electric & after discovering how it worked, was just right temperature-wise (though I did opt for a quick cold shower on a couple of occasions! There is also a corner shelving unit for toiletries whilst in the shower (3 shelves) plus the ubiquitous mop to use after showering.
Just beyond the facilities there is the chemical and waste water disposal point & also the dustbins for general waste & 2 plastic bins for general recycling (there’s a list on the fence saying which items. These bins are not very big, but apart from the day we arrived, were never full; I presume they are emptied daily.
The washing up area was to the left side of the facilities block, just behind the fresh water point. It comprised of one sink and drainer, complete with a plastic draining rack, and on the other side a smaller space in which I could place my dirty plates etc before washing.
There was also a caddy full of cleaning products, and washing up liquid to use. Although only one sink, I never had to queue. It was a deep sink, so quite low down; prolonged use would bring on backache, I think! I used our own sink in the caravan when just a few light items to wash.
There are no bright lighting as on some sites, but from dusk the perimeter fencing and the grassed areas are lit by coloured solar lights stuck into the grass. Very pretty!
There is no book exchange point or any rack of tourist leaflets, but a couple of days into our stay, Mark came to introduce himself and presented us with a folder full of information about local amenities, walks, maps etc, to use for the duration of our stay. The day before we left, I returned it to the porch.
I spotted Linda once or twice during our stay, and as we were leaving, she wished us a safe journey and thanked us for our stay. Other than those two interactions, Mark and Linda left us to our own devices, though their contact numbers were clearly detailed on notices in the toilets, should we have had need of them.
There was free WiFi which was easy to access; the strength of the signal varied, and sometimes was a bit slow, but that might partly have been my phone’s idiosyncrasies!
A lovely site, and we had a great holiday, notwithstanding the traffic noise. We would consider staying here again, perhaps as a stopover on the way to Devon or Cornwall, given that the M5 is only 2 minutes away.
A lot of thought has gone into this site, pitches are large, flat and well spaced, loos and showers excellent with little touches that bigger sites could do well to copy.
Pot wash handy, small but don't try to follow anyone else as all the hot water will be gone! Nice welcome and useful information folder.
A pleasant surprise tucked away in what appears to be an industrial area, access good except if heading towards Highbridge Caravans there's a bit of an awkward turn across a busy road - easier to go down to the roundabout and turn, some road noise, but didn't bother us.
On the downside it's a bit bland, some natural screening would be nice and bring in a bit of wildlife, that said, we did like it a lot, would recommend and will probably return.
They have put a lot of thought into making it really welcoming eg toiletries in case you forget yours. The showers and toilets are done to a high standard.
The dog exercise area is well maintained and safe. My dogs loved that they left toys in a box and a ball thrower.
Apart from the noise from the road, which didn’t spoil anything it was a fantastic site. via mobile
We were needing to get into burnham on sea golf course easily so chose this site.
It’s is very easy to get there and to so many places Just off of the M5 and a busy road across the entrance so if you are bothered by road noise this may prove difficult.
Quite a lot of emergency vehicles go past 😬 BUT the site more than makes up for that.
Very pretty & tidy pitches level great loos and showers (glitter in the grout ⭐️) personal touches like spare toiletries if you'd forgotten anything Small off lead dog area with some balls and toys and a bench to sit at while furry potters
Great free WiFi We would definitely come back
And it seems we are not alone as most of the others in the site were ‘regulars’ via mobile

Now that's out of the way, this was a really lovely small adult-only site!
Only 10 hard-standing pitches; 2 unisex shower rooms; 1 each of ladies and gents toilet with a small cloakroom washbasin in each; 1 washing up sink which is deep enough for washing clothes; and a Chemical/grey water disposal point.
Tastefully decorated and thoughtfully equipped in all the communal areas.
The site owners very helpful and friendly, quick to respond to e-mails and very quick to refund 2 nights when I had to cut short my stay with just over 2-week's notice which was much appreciated.
They had also compiled a very detailed file full of helpful and interesting local information, one for each pitch to keep for the duration of stay; again, much appreciated!
There was an enclosed area for dog walk/exercise. Good job too as my dog was not too keen to walk along the road to go to the field just 50m or so from the campsite - he was startled by the big lorries thundering past.
The site was not far from grocery shops and beaches, and many takeaways will deliver there.
I went to Brean Beach (20min drive) as it was more dog friendly compared to Burnham-on-Sea. I had been to Brean Beach before and would highly recommend going there when it is less crowded such as in the early evenings.
Mobile phone signal was great for EE (5G) on my mobile phone. I also got 5G on my van's Mi-Fi with Smarty. There was also free Wi-Fi on site, however, I did not need to use it so I cannot comment about it.
All in all, a cracking little site, except for the traffic noise, and I got used to that in no time.
I shall return in non-school holidays such as June so as to visit the beaches with the dog when they are less crowded.
Great location if you are travelling on the M5, it's only 2 mins away.
Within easy travelling distance of Burnham on Sea and Weston Super Mare. There are no busses near the site but a supermarket is.
The pitches were a little tight to get into and a motor mover is helpful.
The facilities are spotless and more than adequate for a site of this size.
There is some noise from the adjacent road and care needs to be taken when leaving.
We shall certainly stay again.
