Was only planning a few nights, ended up staying for a week.

The first thing I noticed was how helpful and friendly Dave and Ian are, and how well kept and clean the site is.

Plenty of space, good facilities and the location is absolutely perfect for the beach or exploring local villages.

The pub down the road has a great beer garden and within walking distance, which is a plus. We will definitely be back!

Again a lovely stay and Dave still keeping the site clean and tidy.

Kate as lovely as ever with her daily check to make sure you are happy.

Fresh eggs are great.

Nice to know with Kate that there's no need to check out early like other sites I have visited.

Be back soon.

The site has had a major uplift in the tidiness of the toilets and showers including the kitchen

All the grass is neatly cut,

Dave the odd job man is doing it fantastic job bringing it up to a good standard

Well done!

Have stayed at this site for many years. So disappointed. Rat infestation at top of site.

Not suitable for children, no other families.

Very empty, even in peak season.

Lots of empty unoccupied caravans.

Packed up and went home early.

Very nice site. Quiet and only about 10 minutes by car to Slapton Sands.

There is a pub and chapel in nearby Strete with a local shop. And a few miles in the opposite direction is Stoke Fleming Village with an Italian Restaurant and shop and post office and the very beautiful Blackpool Sands.

The showers were £1 or 50p but well worth it.

There is a kitchen for campers with a microwave, cooker, freezer, washing machine which was £3 and tumble dryer which was I think £1.

There was a large barn which was for campers to use as a lounge area.

We had electric hook up and water.

The site has 2 large fields for terrestrial camping and one field for naturist camping.

It is a well maintained site and Kate the owner is very friendly as are her staff.

She also has hens and you can have 6 fresh eggs for £1.

I can highly recommend this site and we will be returning again next year.

Without even looking at anyone else's reviews, here's what I think:

As a naturist, this site is ideally situated relatively near Slapton Sands naturist beach, which has a large clothes optional area at the northern end.

The site itself is a bit of an oddity.

For those first time visitors, you might find it hard to find. The owner, Kate, decided this year on a new sign outside the entrance, but with no reference to it being a campsite. "Well, I don't want everyone to just drop in!"

Look on Google Earth to locate. You'll see a lot of caravans, but very deceptive as I'm afraid they are mostly abandoned old wrecks of their former selves and frankly makes the site less appealing, certainly for the first time visitors.

The naturist section is certainly sloping. The textile section is mostly level.

Find a pitch yourself and Kate will be driving around a few times in the day in her silver Volvo to find you.

There are 'adequate' shared toilets and showers, reasonably okay, bearing in mind the slightly quirky nature of the site. Talking of which, there are no loo rolls provided. Be prepared! Obviously the naturists will be clothed for facility visits in the main textile area.

The location is the big draw. Very peaceful with no road noise to speak of. Gorgeous sea views with boats sailing from Dartmouth.

Once you get used the 'the difference', this site is especially suitable for those wanting a relaxed, quiet break.

Nice reasonably flat field, that's used for tents and camper vans. The top field is for textile the bottom field is for naturists. When you arrive, just find a spot and set up and Kate will be round to find you.

The kitchen, toilets and showers (£1 for the showers bit all clean and tidy) are by the top field so naturists need to get dressed to make use of them.

The pub and the village shop/PO are just a 10min walk away. Pub has a decent menu (Will do gluten free on some items) and a beer garden with a view of the sea.

Strete Gate and the beach, is a 30 min walk away that is down hill (part of the walk is along the main road) or just a few min drive to the car park at Strete Gate. There is a reasonable priced cafe at the entrance to the beach. The naturist section is to the left as you walk onto the beach. There was a good mix of textile and naturist at the start of the naturist area with no issues.

A lovely stop in this peaceful secluded site.

Basic, yes, rustic, yes…… but what more do you want. Nice to see the facilities have been freshened up, and yes, £1 for the showers, not sure how long that lasted but I did not have any problems.

Close to SWCP and Slapton Sands, albeit a bit of a hike especially for the return leg.

No issues with the site being split into 2, lovely to find a naturist site in Devon with no fuss or hassles.

Definitely recommend to others! Easier to email rather than phone!

Good facilities, hot showers, toilets, washing up sinks etc kept clean and tidy.

Owner Kate very pleasant and helpful, attended site everyday to check all okay.

Some pitches on a bit of a slope so chocks needed. Enjoyed our stay and would return.

Kate the owner was nice and helpful alongside her staff who couldn't do more to make you feel welcome. The site is so much better now since I visited over a year ago.

Kate's assistant on the site has renovated the shower block and toilets. Alongside the kitchen which is nice clean and bright with everything you could need on a camp site👍Also fresh eggs from the hens on site.

Great value for money and just £1. 00 for the lovely clean showers now.

Well worth the money 💰.

Will be back in August.
