Another brilliant stay at Poppyland.
It’s an amazing site with wonderful amenities and an immaculately maintained site, it’s like a home from home only better.
Pam and Billy are the best hosts that you could ever wish to meet, they are so friendly and helpful without being intrusive.
The site is 4 miles from Cromer and close to other beaches and a number of National trust sites to visit.

Small 'adult only' site in a village location with well spaced hard standing pitches.
Great facilities - toilet, showers, washing up facilities and provision of key essentials with honesty box.
Owners very helpful and keen to ensure we had a lovely relaxing stay, which we certainly did!
We will happily visit again in the future.

This was our first visit to Norfolk, and it certainly will not be our last. The site is exceptionally quiet, well-maintained, and immaculate.
The owners were both friendly and welcoming, and the facilities were clean and thoughtfully equipped, including convenient features such as a dog wash.
For those seeking an ideal base from which to explore Norfolk, this location is highly recommended.

What a top class site this is. I am a returning camper who has also stayed in the on-site cottage ( Puddleduck )too. As a smaller site, it is quiet, spacious and very friendly, with Pam and Billy always there to offer support or advise. Nothing is too much.
It is immaculately managed and maintained. Dogs are welcome and NOT charged for and there is. ……… A Portacabin for campers to use the fridge/ freezer/washing machine/ microwave/ books/ washing up facilities/ games to borrow / ice creams etc etc.
There is also a selection of food and non food essentials with an honesty box payment system, as we all know how you can pitch up only to find you have forgotten something !
I have been visiting since pre covid. Returnee campers are numerous and if you want an adult only, friendly and immaculate site, then look no further.
You will not be disappointed, unless of course there are no free pitches 😂

Just had another fantastic stay at Poppyland.
The facilities are amazing, lovely cabin with sink, washing machine, fridge freezer etc, lending love library and tourist information.
Toilets and showers are absolutely spotless and so bright and airy. Pitches are huge and so well kept. Cromer is 4 miles away and it’s an ideal position for travelling around (bus stop just outside the site). If you’ve got a dog there’s plenty of beaches nearby to visit.
The best thing about the site is Pam and Billy the owners, you couldn’t wish to meet 2 nicer people who are always happy to help without being intrusive. We love it so much we’ve booked again for next year.

We really liked the lodge with the information about the local area in, and a good selection of basics to buy at good prices.

Great site with many returning guests which is a good sign. The owners have thought of everything even down to ice creams in the freezer.
Facilities spotless & enough for size of site.
Billy was helpful with information about cycling & walking which can be done easily from the site.
There is a bus stop at the gate.
No shops or pub in Village but plenty a short drive away.
Red kite flew over each day.
Some essentials for sale in the 'hut' as well as book exchange & information.
Just how camping should be!

This is an excellent site. Exceptionally clean and tidy, and very well laid out. This was our second visit here, albeit the last visit was a few years ago!
We pitched on a gravel hardstand, which had more than enough room for our awning. The on site toilet area was immaculate. There is a 'cabin' where you can get everyday essentials, although we did not use it.
Access is good with no real problems for getting our van onto site. The owner was pleasant and helpful.
If we had one negative comment to make, it would be the lack of any lighting around the site, our pitch was close to the entrance /wc block, so there was a little light, but generally it was extremely dark to get about.
That said we are more than happy to visit again in the future.

An absolute delight.
Quiet, well maintained and immaculate.
Bus stop right outside, pubs and train station in walking distance.
Facilities spotless.
Loved the portacabin idea. Good selection of basic supplies with honesty box, books, washing facilities, microwave and wash up area.
Everything you need is catered for.
Would definitely go back

ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS. This site is close to the coast for dog walking but far enough away from any busy places.
There are a couple of very nice pubs within walking distance and another a little out of the village, but no footpath so car needed. The showers and toilets are spot on.
The communal room is the best I have ever seen and I've seen some sites.
The site itself is about as perfect condition as you can get. Pam, Billy and Mick are the perfect site hosts.
