Both Duncan and Elizabeth run a perfect site
The best site I have visited
Toilets, shower room clean to a very high standard they both are always on site if ever needed and very helpful

Good site clean facilities showers £1 for 10 mins, lovely views from pitch plenty of space between units owner very helpful if needed.
We survived the storm & was slightly worried before arriving if the caravan would be ok as we weren't sure if site was sheltered or not most people took awnings down a few campers especially the ones with roof top tents had moved to a different part of the field during the night as it was 62 mph gusts for 24hours.
Oban isn't far drove there a couple of times parking was ample.

We recommend this site highly. Having stayed at 3 (and seen 2 more) touring sites between Oban and Appin, this is by far our favourite. It is small, has ever-changing views of the sea, is a short walk from the sandy beach (which may have the adjacent croft's cattle on it); has a small enclosed wood ideal for a dog's comfort breaks (with ample poo bins) and is blissfully, restfully quiet at night.
The friendly owner is always out & about, and keeps the site immaculate: toilets, the hotel-standard showers (£1 token for 10 mins, ample time, in proper shower rooms), grass, gravel, planters, painted farm machinery, bins - all neat, tidy & spotlessly clean.
There is a choice of level hard-standing or firm grass (you'll need chocks or the owner can lend them); after a chat about what we'd like, we were allocated our perfect pitch, with masses of space around us. The CDP was tucked discretely out of sight, there's a drive-over grey water drain beside it.
£30 pn (cash only), and an instant response to my text query about availability.
No Wi-Fi, good Vodafone signal.
Check first, but probably not suitable for ambulant disabled people due to the step up to the toilets and showers. And a very long caravan almost took out the fence post as it turned to leave the site, as the access is narrow.
A couple of eateries or take-aways nearby. We walked (it would be a good cycle) a 10 mile loop on quiet single track roads with views west to the mountains, out to the island of Eriska with its hotel and views to Appin, back past Barcaldine castle, to the Fort William - Oban cycle route to the village.
Hourly bus to Oban (a seafood heaven, or take a ferry or a boat trip) is a 15 min walk away in Benderloch (bus stop is directly outside the school as the bus turns here); journey takes 30 mins.

Beautifully kept site with spotlessly clean showers & toilets. Ten minute shower with 1 £1 token and no issues with temperature or flow.
Duncan the owner waited until our ferry got in to show us to our pitch at about 11pm so exceptionally helpful.

A warm welcome from Duncan when we arrived. He took time to tell us about the site & where everything was & he showed us to our pitch which was nice.
Plenty space between vehicles as he scatters everyone about as they come in.
The site is immaculate, grass cut & showers & toilets cleanest I have seen.
Cyclists seem to like this site, being close to various quiet roads & old railway path.
We travelled in & out of Oban to attend events, which was a 15-20 min drive away, which was great.
Duncan has done an excellent job here, we will definitely be back.

We recieved a warm welcome to this gem of a campsite and the owner suggested a large grassy pitch with gorgeous views over the bay, with plenty of room for the kids to play.
The facilities were excellent, very well cared for and clean.
We walked down the road for Fish and Chips from the Tralee Holiday Park entrance. We didn't pre-book but didn't have to wait more that 10 minutes for our order.
The beach, which is just a short walk down the lane from the campsite is large, sand and pebbles and very popular at sunset. The kids also enjoyed watching the bunnies in the neighboring field.
Would definitely recommend this site.

We had been here four years ago and when we arrived Duncan had kept the high standards of cleanliness,
The showers are amazing and I we don't mind buying tokens to use them as they are second none and we've not found any as good and we have been to plenty of sites.
Any negatives would be aimed at other campers who for example may need to be shown what a toilet brush is for!
Lovely quiet site.
The only negative reviews I've seen are from a couple who didn't even stay here so it's a shame that a false bad review can be printed.
We will return again and again, keep up the good work Duncan.

A favourite site, visited a number of times before, although we had not visited since 2019, due to covid then to changes to work shifts.
Duncan, the owner, runs an immaculately kept site with a variety of hard standing and grass pitches with beautiful views to the south over Tralee Bay. This site has one of the best recycling areas we have ever seen and going back 9 years it was the best by far.
There is a small wooded area to the rear of the site which houses a dog walk.
The huge beach at Tralee Bay is accessed on foot down a lane of a few hundred metres, with no unauthorised vehicles allowed.
Fish and chips are a must at least once during your visit, from the stall just along the road.
The village of Benderloch, where there is a well stocked shop and a camping shop, is easily accessible by foot or bicycle.
We won't leave it so long next time!

An EXCELLENT site!
This is a great site and at a very reasonable price. We stayed there last year and had no hesitation in stopping here again this year.
The site is immaculate, the facilities excellent, as is the owner.
The entrance to the site may look a bit quirky lots of old (but neatly painted) farm equipment line the road, the site could not be any better!
It is close enough to Oban to travel in for the day.
We can really recommend this site. We have stayed at North Ledaig CMC site also the site on the opposite side of the road, neither compare to this site, however this was before we discovered this site.
We thoroughly recommend this site.
