 To us this is a 5 star camp. Breathtaking views & so peaceful. We have been coming for around 5 years now & just love it.
Yes there is a train track but believe me it really doesn't interfere with your stay there & yes its next to Valley Airbase but I love that!
Carl his up & down the field all day making sure that toilets & showers are clean & stocked, in all the five years we have "NEVER" had a problem.
Both Carl & Fiona will go above & beyond to make sure your stay is a happy one. My & my other half there just about every week & hate it if we have to miss one.
Wen Valley Air Show on Carl & Fiona put a buffet & barbecue on with music, all campers welcome plus at Easter they do an Easter hunt which is lovely.
We sit out till early hours of the morning Star Gazing & listen out for the Bittern a rare bird which nest not far from camp.
Its a lovely walk down to Golf Club which has the best beer garden then onto Rhosneigr stunning beach bars & restaurants.
Seriously if you love nature & need an escape don't hesitate coming to Trewan Sands. Our shoulders drop wen we drive in, its our piece of heaven, absolute "Paradise!"

This is the 2nd time we have visited this site. Booking is really easy, Fiona is really responsive and was so helpful. Carl is brilliant, very friendly and can't do enough for you.
Loos are clean as are the showers, Carl works really hard to make sure they stay that way, We've enjoyed our stay so much this time we've added an extra night.
It's important to note that despite the name, it is not next to the beach but it's really not that far to Rhosneigr by car. This didn't bother us as we were here for planes.
The site is right next to the runway of RAF Valley so is great for plane spotting Mon. -Fri. This was perfect as we love the planes. First planes start flying at 8. 15 which made us laugh as they managed to get our daughter out of bed as she was so excited to see them.
There is also a train line running next to the site but you don't really hear it after a while.
We will definitely be back and want to thank Carl and Fiona for a much needed break at their lovely site.

Lovely site owners friendly and helpful, short 20 min walk to rhosneiger,
Perfect spot for plane watching,
Would definitely stay again,
Just be aware it is right on the train line buy it didn't bother us at all, we enjoyed waving as it passed by

Lovely site, hidden away but within easy reach of Rhosneigr by foot.
The facilities were always clean and the owners were lovely.
We'd definitely stay again. Thank-you for having us!

Lovely basic site, just what we like, lovey walk in to Rhosniger, 30 min through the golf course. Pass other sites which look far to busy.
Owner Karl, constantly knocking about for a chat, help advice on surrounding area.
Toilets always clean, seen Karl cleaning the 11pm one night.
Cant not fault this site. Beaches also fantastic.
This site has a train line, but its hardly noticeable.
Next to RAF Valley, this would be the best site for plane spotting (mon-fri only)

V spacious campsite. We went on a bank holiday weekend and there was oodles of space.
Would be good for groups.
V accommodating owners.
Basic facilities but clean and because there were few tents (lots of caravans/campers) there was never any difficulty accessing them. Good price I thought.
About a half hour walk across golf course to rhosneigr.
Allows fire pits off the ground which is a must for us.
Trains go past occasionally put tbh it never bothered me.

This site is a Gem! We stayed in April and enjoyed it so much we came back in August with friends and family.
The free bbq & alcohol Carl & Fiona put on for the Air show was Brucy bonus they are the hostess of the most, and can't do enough for you.
You can walk to Rosneigor which took us about 30 minutes.
There is everything on this site to make you comfortable lots of space around your caravan, good toilet and showers fantastic views across the mountains.
See you again next year 😆👍

We have stayed here "So Many Times" and will continue to do so. Carl & Fiona run such a beautiful camp site with toilets & showers & are lovely people who can't do enough for you.
On Saturday night we were Star Watching as we normally do when we noticed lights on Snowden and surrounding mountains, so many people hiking up there it was so pretty to watch, also we were listening to a bitterns.
The wild life round there is fabulous and a lovely stroll takes you to the golf club where they serve food & drinks and onto Rhosneigr which has a beautiful beach and plenty of places to eat & drink.
Seriously if you have a camper van tent touring caravan make your way here, I promise you that you will "NOT" be disappointed.
Plus if you love your jets as I do your right next to Valley Air Base. Just can't say enough on how lovely it is.
They even have two cottages for rent but we Love the camping life.

Even though it’s next to the railway and the RAF base it’s a very quiet site. Well run by a friendly couple with a daily on-site presence checking with everyone that all was well.
The access road is a little bumpy but take it easy and it’s not a problem. We will definitely be back.
Longish walk into Rhosneigr but again not a problem (as long as you allow enough time to get back before it gets dark).
Rhosneigr is definitely developing, I hope it doesn’t become another Abersoch… more bars and food outlets than ever before but still the main attraction is the sea and the beaches.
Fab for SUP, swimming and lots of boats of all types and sizes.
If you get the weather is there anywhere better?

A lovely clean site with plenty of room for the grandkids to play when they visited.
Carl was always very attentive without being imposing.
The site and shower block have been improved and developed since the last time we visited and I believe more improvements are on the way.
The site is situated next to the railway line but trains travel through in a few seconds.
Also RAF Valley is close by so on weekdays the various aircraft can be seen flying overhead.
We'll certainly be back
