 Very peaceful, clean facilities, great view from the camping field across the countryside,
Nice walk round the site with great views of the sea and holy island, perfect base to visit the area.
Friendly and informative, easy check in,

Great site

Quiet nice place, clean toilets and showers plus a families wet room,
Large barn to chill I’m large leather settees.
Plenty electric and plenty space all grass slight slop.
Yes I’d stop again when visiting Holy Island.

Just what we needed after a couple of nights in the city!
A lovely peaceful site with only the sounds of cows and birds. The mist beautiful sunsets I've seen and an array of birds. A very tidy site with clean facilities and a barn for games etc.
Perfect for visiting Lindisfarne, Bamburgh castle and beaches, Alnwick, Berwick etc etc.
Easy check in and reasonable prices.

This review is for our third visit and we are booked in for visit four this summer :) We camp and have a dog. The site is busy enough for there to be another dog or two around but is not crowded and there are usually a few kids who it is delightful to hear playing (or even stomping but we are still happy to hear them as we remember that they are not ours as ours have grown up :) ! )
Very clean, well maintained and very quiet even when fully booked, facilities were enhanced in 2025 with a fridge and freezer! There is a block with washing up sinks, toilets, separate free showers and a big wetroom with toilet, shower and sink…ideal for sorting out the kids or if you have a wheelchair. The washing up water is always hot and the sinks are kept clean by the users and the landlady.
Rubbish and recycling is well organised.
There is also a big barn where people have been known to shelter when the wind is high…. There are games and books in there with a massive bench and table and big sofas. We’ve barely used it but backpacking campers are often grateful for an area to lounge in and kids love the table football.
The walk around the mill pond is a delight at any time but especially when the cherry trees are in full fruit :) The geese visit the mill pond and there appear to be are smaller water fowl there permanently.
Shops in both the nearby villages are very handy and the A1 service station is ideal if it’s out of hours. Laundry is available at automat sites outside the service station and morrisons in berwick. We’ve always found these do need detergent although it says they don’t and don’t wear polaroid sunglasses to operate the touchscreens :)

This is an absolutely lovely site, remarkably peaceful and with some wonderful facilities, toilets clean, wet room a great bonus, drying room is useful.
Simple check in system means you don't have to arrive at a specific time.
Extremely well located for all the Northumberland coastal attractions, Holy Island, Bamburgh, Seahouses all just a few minutes drive away, Berwick extremely photogenic and has all the major supermarkets if you require to stock up, Borders within easy reach, Kelso, Eyemouth, St. Abbs all within 30 minutes drive.
However, if you want a relaxing time, spend a few days on site and enjoy the lovely walks that are all around.
Great site, well worth a visit.

Ideally situated for visiting Holy Island/Bamburgh etc.
With a very pleasant outlook and peaceful countryside.
Facilities were adequate with toilets, shower, family room shower and wash up.
Would certainly visit again
