Friendly welcome from hosts on arrival.
Spacious grass pitch with EHU.
Clean and warm facilities.
Extremely quiet surroundings.
Good pub food within 10 minutes walk.
Bus stop outside the pub for travel in both directions.
We went to Glasson Dock one day and into Lancaster the day after.
Would definitely return.

Perfect site within easy reach of everything you could want; coast, river, canal, Lancaster, First of Bowland, Arnside, Morecambe, even The Lakes, and much more.
Nikki, the owner, was super helpful, but not at all intrusive (unlike some places we've been). She gave us recommendations for places to visit and to eat/drink, lending us maps and guides too.
The site is spacious and attractive, with thoughtful landscaping. It really feels like you're in the middle of nowhere, with just the sound of the birds.
At the site entrance is a brand new toilet block with two toilets, and a huge shower room, which would be great for a young family. The block was spotlessly clean and fresh, and even has bike parking right outside.
There is an outside washing up area; this only has cold water, so take a flask of hot.
It sometimes feels like a bit of pot luck when you try a new site, but definitely not here. Berry's farm is everything a CS should be, and then some.
Thank you Nikki & Andrew; see you again!

First time visiting Berrys Farm and will definitely be back.
Lovely campsite and owners, everything was so well kept and bathroom facilities were spotless.
A pleasant walk into Lancaster along the estuary for food and drinks on Saturday, followed by a bike ride on the Sunday along the cycle path and surrounding area.
A perfect weekend.

Campsite in great position in undiscovered part of Lancashire.
At present no amenities beyond fresh water water, sewage disposal and dustbins.
Within walking distance of 2 excellent pubs.
Close to historic Glasson Docks and old railway path which goes to Lancaster.
Close to M6 for great overnight stop.

This touring site offers spectacular views towards the Lake District and Morecambe Bay, with Blackpool Tower also in the distance, yet located just over 3 miles from Junctions 34 and 35 of the M6 motorway. Visitors will find just 10 electric pitches for motorhomes and touring caravans, with access to the superfast Wifi, toilets with sinks, a shower room and fresh water taps. Dogs are allowed and there is a designated field for walks.
The local village of Halton is a mile away from the site, offering a convenience store, newsagent, pharmacy, post office and fish and chip shop. The market town of Carnforth is 3 miles away, with its train station (featured in the 1945 film Brief Encounter) and supermarkets. The seaside resort of Morecambe is within 5 miles and the Lake District is only 35-minutes drive. Find out more here

It's a beautiful, level site with lovely bushes and trees around the boundary. It feels lovely and intimate, but roomy. Such a peaceful place to stay.
It's close to main routes, but you wouldn't know it.
The sites new owners are very friendly and approachable and they are investing in improving facilities.
On our visit the toilet and shower block was almost finished and the electric will get connected soon.
The elsen and recycling bins are in a nice clean and tidy area discretely to the side of the new toilet block
The Stork Inn is only a short walk back to the main road if you want a pint or a good evening meal.
I'm definitely going to book again.

Lovely welcome from Niki ( they have just taken over the site ).
A nice small site was well maintained with flat grass pitches.
It is still a work in progress shower/ toilet block not finished yet. Does have chemical waste & water though so we were fine.
Lots walks in the area & 3 good pubs close. Also cycle route down old railway line to Lancaster approx 5 mile.
Close to bus route to Lancaster & Knott End
Will definitely stay again

We managed to choose the coldest April days for a long time to spend a few nights in the tent here! Fortunately for us the site's hook up power supply is excellent allowing us to avoid hypothermia by plugging in a heater!
The site is lovely and flat for tents with hedging down one side if you want additional wind protection.
Facilities are simple but more than adequate with two hot shower/toilet cubicles with cold water sinks and a wash-up area with washing machine and hot water geyser.
Good dog walking opportunities. There is a lovely walk along the canal towards Galgate where there are cafes and pubs, a walk along a disused railway track which will take you into Lancaster (eventually!) and a shorter walk into Glasson itself where there are pubs and a little shop for basics (and ice cream).
The Stork Inn and The Mill are very close by and are excellent pubs for food and the odd pint to finish off a good walk!
Great little site for a few days exploring this interesting and varied area.

Management response: Please note, this site is under new ownership from 2024, and the facilities have been replaced with brand new shower and toilet block. |

Good facilities and clean there even a fresh hand towel provided, the owner give us a lift to the Stork Inn, he stopped and offered us a lift whilst walking there.
We choose this campsite at it was the end of the Bay Cycleway which starts at Barrow-in-Furness, a few challenging hills on the first day especially carrying full camping gear.
The only complaint was the grass cuttings got everywhere.

The site really nice flat pitches lovely views. Facilities brilliant 2 shower rooms.
We went for a cycle ride along the canal through Lancaster to Morecambe and back which was brilliant. Lovely pubs along the way, The mill at Conder Green really nice & the Stork round the corner form the site.
