We were met by Sharon ( The owner) as we arrived. She was very helpful and informative of the campsite and surrounding areas.
The electricity is metered, so we got information on how it operates and you go to the office to top it up as necessary.
Nothing was too much trouble for her and her husband. They told us some great places to eat out, where the shops and supermarkets are etc they were ever so friendly.
The showers/ toilets are kept very well. There is a display on the wall with lots of leaflets in with lots of brilliant places to visit and sights to see.
There were washing up facilities in the shower block too and an information board with campsite details etc on and a couple of advertisements for caravans and equipment for sale, and an advert with number for caravan repairs. They have disabled facilities too but the stone paths are difficult to push wheelchairs across.
The campsite is lovely and peaceful. (but the nearby motorway had lots of cars racing up and down in the evening).
Overall an excellent campsite and we will definitely return. Oh and there are caravan storage facilities and seasonal plots. ( not sure if there are any available).
There is a dog walk too. There are places for children to play but no playground.

We only stopped here as it was a convenient location for a one night stay on our way further South.
What a find!, the park is by far and away one of the best we have stayed at, friendly, clean, quiet, and very economical at £22 for the night, with a further £5 for a preloaded ehu payment card, which we only used just over £1 on, so were refunded the difference.
More campsites should adopt this method.
We will definitely be back.

Really impressed with Brylea, so clean with just the facilities we needed.
The sites are generous and well spaced and we thought it was great value for money.
Sharon was lovely to deal with by email and the booking process was so easy - that gave us peace of mind for our first few days after a long flight from NZ

We originally booked for 5 nights over Easter. However, due to a personal family emergency at home we had to cut our stay short.
Sharon was great she only charged us for the 3 nights we stayed, not the 5 we originally booked for which was really kind considering how cheap the price was already.
Facilities were basic as stated but were excellent with everything easily accessible. Toilet block and washing up facilities spotless with plenty of hot water.
Sharon told me they were changing the electric hook ups to metered electric so you pay for what you use, plus a small price per night which is totally fair, again considering this sight was the cheapest around for its facilities.
Quiet location easy access to M55 motorway and the local Fylde coast.
We've already decided we'll be back for another stay soon.

Once again a peaceful stay, facilities immaculate, easy to get to off new junction 2 of M55.
TV reception good.
Pub selling good reasonably priced food 3/4 mile down road.
Already looking forward to future visits with caravan.

Prompt response to email enquiry, well manicured and looked after flat site,
Clean facilities, two showers, sinks and toilets in each of the men's and ladies, we didn't think they were enough for the size of the site, but there was never a problem,
Friendly welcome from Sharon,
The electric was only 10amp, but our electric barbecue coped with it, the WiFi is free, but very slow, mobile signal wasn't great either.
Surrounded by flat quiet roads, we cycled into Lytham and back. Parkruns at Lytham and Preston, we drove to the Preston one but could probably have cycled there, you could definitely cycle to Lytham parkrun.
Walking distance to the local pub which serves real ale, it also does food but we didn't eat there.
Short walk to the Lancaster canal.
Fees were £25 per night which we'd have thought was expensive pre covid, but now seems the going rate.
We'll definitely be back!
