A bit disappointed with the site. Very boggy, within minutes a kind 4 x 4 driver had to tow us clear as our caravan wheel had sunk 4 inches on the plot we had been allocated, before we'd even unhitched.
There were very few lights working on the site which meant it was very dark going to the toilet block at night. Although the showers and toilets were clean some locks and toilet seats were missing, which for the start of the season, was a bit disappointing.
The land train wasn't running because it had broken down and a part was needed to repair it, which again was a bit disappointing for the start of the season.
It was quite a walk for the children every day to the main park where all the entertainment was held. The main park looked like it wasn't finished with building materials lying around. The staff on the meadows touring pitch were excellent, very helpful and friendly, and on our last day showed great concern that we may become stuck because of the wet ground.
We would return, but know now what to expect, and would advise anyone who goes not to expect too much and then you won't be disappointed and will have a good time.

A little disapointed with this site not quite what we expected. The site is fairly level and has views across the countryside, there are 2 fishing lakes being created for 2004.
The site warden is very freindly, there are 2 toilet blocks with shower facilites although some of the showers were not working when we were there.
There is about a 10 min walk to the main Haven site and also to the beach which you reach via sand dunes.
