Nice farm site with several very noisy peacocks!
Two decent pubs in the village - one pricey with a very impressive menu, and one cheap and cheerful not so busy, but not too much choice on the menu. Decent enough site, though rumoured to be very busy in peak summer months (remarkably empty when we visited on a bank holiday weekend).
Easy access to adjacent NT land, which is very beautiful and contains the Nine Ladies stone circle, complete with environmental protestors (propsed quarry).
Would love to go back.
