 Absolutely loved the place, beautiful countryside.
It is being upgraded and will be even better when complete.

Lovely views from the site, which is in a good location.
A short stroll takes you into Badby, a nice walk to Badby woods which is not to be missed if you're there in Bluebell season (although very muddy!).
Very kind and friendly owner (and Ivor the lovely dog).
We enjoyed watching the horses whilst we relaxed around our pitch.
The facilities thus far are ok, and are being improved.
We hope to stay here again.

Nice views only 5 pitches so quiet and friendly owner.
Sloping grass pitch, slopes up to exit could be a problem in wet weather.
Turn in from main road is tight.

Fab location with great views across the fields complete with horses & cows (and a goose).
Owner, Lars, was very friendly and helpful. Entrance gate on right is the one to use - go left and it can be VERY tight (as we found out).
Facilities are extremely basic and there is no shower so own san and facilities highly recommended.
Nice pub in nearby Badby and lovely Portugese restaurant/English pub in nearby Newnham.
Daventry was much nicer than expected and the Parkrun route around the reservoir is lovely (also a great place for a walk).

First impressions weren’t great as we had to drive through an area that could only be described as a ‘ junk - yard’ but once into the camping field what a view !
After speaking to Lars ( the new owner) it became clear what his plans and vision for the site was… it’ll take time but once complete it’ll be a little gem.
The facilities didn’t include a shower as stated and the lack of light in the toilets need to be addressed.
We thoroughly enjoyed our short break only 30 mins from home and will return.
Great walks, views and beautiful village with amazing pub !

We had a wonderful stay at this lovely camping. If you need luxury or entertainment, don't go to this place.
But if you want to enjoy the magnificent environment in a relaxing atmosphere, there is no better place.
We'll come back for sure ;-)

We had a lovely stay thank you - the site is cute - with chickens roaming and goats, sheep and horses in the neighbouring fields. The children (9 & 13) thought it was amazing!
It’s also surrounded by beautiful scenery!
We couldn’t find the lights for the toilet (perhaps there wasn’t any) and the shower could’ve done with a chair / table to put your clothes on (but I know they’re planning on renovating soon.
That being said - for the price we paid (£12 including electric hookup) we felt it was incredibly reasonable and we were really happy with our short stay!

Stayed here for one night as we were going to a wedding reception at nearby Fawsley Hall.
Initially drove past the entrance as we didn’t spot the sign on the gate and the sat nav was taking us to the centre of the village. Had to ask for directions but finally got there.
Once pitched up I have to say it was rather crowded - there were quite a few units all around the field quite close together. That said it’s a nice field with some lovely views. There were horses next to us and chickens wandering around.
We received a warm and friendly reception from the owner who helped us to hook-up.
At £12 per night it’s a decent price.
I didn’t personally visit the showers as we use our own facilities but I did visit the toilets which were clean.
We did not venture out other than to take a taxi to Fawsley Hall but this site was ideal for our needs.

Easily missed from the road, poor signage. No sign of the owners when I arrived, a helpful guy (visiting someone on the site) showed me around.
Field/pitch fine, however the facilities were probably the worst I have ever encountered - health and safety would have had a field day - how this site has a certificate I do not know.
Toilet macerator needed to be plugged in, under the sink, into an extension. Around the sink was not clean - did not want to put my toothbrush down. Didn't go anywhere near the shower.
