This is a small, quiet site with a toilet and a shower. There are now 5 hardstanding pitches with electric. We met the owner Lars who was very helpful. The village now has one pub/restaurant, we did not try it because it opened from 5pm, closed on Monday.

If you have a car or a campervan you can drive into Daventry. We have a motorhome but we are fully self suffient so we did not need to travel.

There is walking routes available, we walked to Newnham a couple of miles away, where there is a pub/ restaurant. Fawsley manor hotel is 3 miles away, Badby woods are within a mile and at this time of the year the bluebell carpet the woodland.

Our only criticism is that the Elsan point could do with being refurbished, it is not great.

A very pleasant CS, in attractive countryside and surrounded by fields with horses. Lars the owner Is pleasant and friendly, but you don't see much of him as he also has a full time job. He was mowing the grass when we arrived.

The price of £22 per night is good, metered EHU but we only paid £8 for the week (the weather was hot. ) Unfortunately there is a problem with the waste water not properly draining, which needs to be addressed.

We went to see the famous bluebell wood; we have just as good a wood near home which is not famous.

No shops in the village, but Daventry has Tesco for ordinary bods and Waitrose for the posh. It also has a lovely country park with many walks.

The site would make a good stopover, and there is enough of interest for a few days.

Breath taking views from site. We found the site was rustic but clean.

We found that this site is perfect for caravans, less suitable for long stay in Motorhomes but we still enjoyed our stay.

The owners are super friendly and very helpful.

There is one Toilet on site but no showers, so suitable for self contained units. There is EHU at most sites, but only one fresh water tap, so you need a water container if staying for long periods. There is a grey waste and Elsan point.

We found the site very friendly and convenient for what we wanted. The local walks through Badby woods and Badby village are lovely.

Really enjoyed our stay.

 Very pleasant owners.

Lovely walks, especially Badby woods with all the bluebells.

The site is currently being brought up to date, will be perfect when completed.

Loved the view of the horses in the field.

 Beautiful little campsite.

Lovely views over fields and the horses in the field right next to campsite.

Will go again.

Could do with a shower, and waste for chemical toilet could be updated a bit.

Lovely views from the site, which is in a good location.

A short stroll takes you into Badby, a nice walk to Badby woods which is not to be missed if you're there in Bluebell season (although very muddy!).

Very kind and friendly owner (and Ivor the lovely dog).

We enjoyed watching the horses whilst we relaxed around our pitch.

The facilities thus far are ok, and are being improved.

We hope to stay here again.
