 Just returned from an eight night stay at this wonderful touring caravan park. I want to put this review out there so the site owners get the recognition for the wonderful work they have done to get the place up to the standard that it is.
However I don't want to make it sound too nice because others will start using it and I might not be able to book again if it gets too busy/popular. Only joking, I wish them every success they absolutely deserve it.
The owners Ged and Julia live in their house on site. They are always on hand if needed, but do not impose themselves on you. Ged is working daily, cutting the grass, doing numerous upgrades and any jobs that need doing.
Julia cleans the toilets and replenishes the toilet rolls, paper towels, the shower gel, shampoo and conditioner that they provide in the shower block. This really is a lovely touch. Ged can also be seen filming sometimes for their YouTube channel 'Behind the pitches'.
Please have a look at this site and give them a like and subscribe and share the videos and all the wonderful work they are doing to promote this beautiful touring park.
Halfway House Touring Park is well situated to visit the local and wider Lincolnshire area. With Mablethorpe, Skegness, Cleethorpes and Sutton-on-Sea. Dog friendly beaches can be found at Theddlethorpe and Mablethorpe. A couple of other great local nature reserves at Donna Nook and Hubbards Hill. All within easy reach by car.
The camping area is accessed via gates that must be closed on entry and exit. It contains five fully serviced grass pitches, with a water tap, grey waste and a EHU point, elsan disposal and recycling facilities. Two toilets and one shower. These have been totally refurbished for this year.
They are decorated and fitted out to a very high standard. They were always spotlessly clean. The gates to the entrance drive and the camping area are locked overnight making the place secure. The pitches are a good size and well spaced out with room for our caravan, awning and our secure dog run/pen without encroaching on our neighbours. There is also an absolutely huge dog field/area where your pets can run freely off the lead. This is also a great place to watch the sunset from the picnic benches in the meadow.
They have a 'pop bar' which opens on various/set weekends during the season. The bar wasn't open during our stay but on our last night Ged and Julia invited us and the other 3 vans on site to join them for a 'bring your own social drink' in the camping field under the patio heater. This was a wonderful evening and a great way for all the guests to meet and just chat about everyday things and share stories and camping memories. This was a great idea and a really nice way to end our holiday.
Yes it is next to Manby Road which can be busy at times so you can get some traffic noise. However this did not bother us at all during our stay.
I have to mention that on arrival our car had an Engine management light come on, I am a member of the AA so I called them out. They advised me of the fault and booked the vehicle into the closest recommended repairer inline with my membership policy/package. The garage was in Grimsby which is 20 miles from the site. With my vehicle still being drivable I had to get the car to the garage myself.
I had no idea where the garage was or how to get back to the site if the car had to be left at the garage. Ged offered to follow me and bring me back to the site. He then took me back to the garage to collect my car after it had been repaired. This was a total of 80 miles. He refused any offer of payment for this absolutely wonderful gesture and we will be forever grateful. We can not thank you enough. To use their mantra we arrived as strangers but left as friends.
If you are looking for a site in this area of Lincolnshire then book a stay at Halfway House Touring Park, you will not be disappointed.
Well done to Julia, Ged and family, we will definitely be returning.

Amazing site, very clean and tidy, grass pitches each with electric and water, 2 toilets and 1 shower available.
Not far to drive to mablethorpe and surrounding area.
Close to lound
Easy access and a massive dog walking area

Stayed over Easter weekend with friends, having visited once before in May ‘25 (our first ever trip out in our first ever van!).
It has become a favourite for us and our friends as it is has spotlessly clean facilities, the grounds are very well kept, the pitches are generous and well serviced (water and EHU) and perhaps most importantly the owners Ged & Julia are friendly and welcoming hosts.
The site is dog friendly with a very large paddock area for walking your pups, but unfortunately it’s not 100% secure so our escape artist husky couldn’t be let off her lead but luckily we did have her 30m long lead and there was more than enough room for her.
Considering the facilities and serviced pitches I think the pitch fees are excellent value so I can’t recommended Halfway House enough.

We had a lovely stay at Halfway House. Ged and Julia are fantastic hosts.
Whole site is very clean, tidy and well kept. Pitches are level and massive.
The shower and toilets are 5 star. Pop up bar is a bonus and a great opportunity to socialise with other campers.
This site is a little gem in Lincolnshire.
We will definitely be back.

Easter Break 2026 - Halfway House is an absolutely fantastic, Adult Only site, with the best dog walk area we have ever experienced, in a secluded site.
Fully serviced pitches with beautiful shower/toilet block, amazing hosts who will go above and beyond to make your stay 100% awesome. So friendly and all the hard work they put into their dream campsite shows.
Book early to avoid disappointment as there are only 5 pitches. ,
We loved staying here and is our now 'go to' getaway, close to our favourite beach @ Theddlethorpe amazing country views, local bars & restaurants - NOT TO BE MISSED.

We've just arrived home from a long weekend at Halfway House 5 Pitch caravan site,
The new owners Ged & Juila are fantastic hosts, really welcoming and friendly,
The site is as immaculate as it could be, the grass is well manicured and looked after.
The toilets are spotlessly clean. It is every bit as good as it was under Sue & Andy before it closed due to Andys accident.
It brilliant that its reopened, Ged & Julia have worked wonders in refreshing everything.
It's back as one of our go to sites for a quiet weekend away.

Just returned from a three night stay at Halfway House. The new owners are really friendly and nothing was too much trouble for them.
The site itself is immaculate, spotless amenities and the grounds very well manicured and tidy.
This has to be one of the best sites we’ve been to and will definitely be returning later in the year.

This CL is one of my favourites, lovely clean site and very helpful friendly owners.
Some nice walks directly from the site and a visit to Louth is a must, steeped in history.
The good lady and myself will definitely be back soon.

Very quiet and relaxed site.
Secluded field with electric hook up, clean toilets,
Sue was very helpful and even gave us a small bag of doggie treats on our arrival. !
Close to Louth, the sea and the wolds.
