 Our second visit. The site is quiet, extremely well kept.
Ged and Julia are superb hosts and bend over backwards to make sure you're stay is a great one. 5 well maintained pitches, with electric, with the nicest toilets and shower I've seen on a site. Only minutes from Louth and easy access to the coast.
My wife and I fish and there are some great fisheries one only a 5 minute drive away.
We are also aircraft enthusiasts so this location is central to various points of interest such as Coningsby home for the BBMF.
Being an adult only site makes it perfect for us.
Highly recommend.
All in all a fantastic site, people, and location.
Looking forward to next year.

Very nice site and friendly owners who meet you on arrival and show you to your pitch.
The field is very flat and can choose your own positioning of caravan on allotted pitch.
Excellent toilet and shower facilities.
Very large dog exercise field.
Would definitely recommend a visit to this gem of a site

Superb adult only site with everything you could wish for, well maintained site particularly the hedges, lol ;) and if you have a dog there is a massive paddock they can stretch their legs in.
Water and optional electricity (we go off grid but it’s available if needed) on each pitch with grey waste into the hedge. There are stunning hotel standard showers and toilets with complimentary toiletries.
Ged, Julia and their family make the whole experience as if you are visiting friends and are always on hand to help and have a chat.
They regularly host social gatherings for all those guests on site who want to join in which reinforces the feeling you are with friends.
One of the best around in our opinion.
Would score at least 12 out of 10 if I could

If I could give Ged & Julia 20/10 I would, they put everything into the site, they really care about those who stay. Every last detail matters to them.
The site is immaculately kept, Ged and his hedges. He's so particular.
The best toilets/shower we have experienced on a 5 van site, add the fact its Adult only makes it perfect as our go to chill out place.

This campsite is a total gem, offering wonderfully spacious pitches alongside pristine, top-notch facilities.
Being just a lovely, easy stroll from the heart of Louth makes it the perfect base for a relaxing break.

This was our second visit to halfway House. I cannot add anything that has already been said.
This has got to be the best site we have ever visited in over 20 years of caravanning. The most wonderful owners you will ever meet, the site and facilities are 5*. An excellent dog walking field.
A great base for visiting many of the coastal resorts of Skegness, Mablethorpe, Cleethorpes, Sutton on Sea to name a few. Lovely beaches within easy reach. Louth has lots of lovely places to eat out. In fact to many to mention
As the saying goes "you've seen the rest, now try the best". I promise, you will not be disappointed.

Lovely quiet site, immaculate. Amazing toilets and shower 5*+ Warm welcome from owners. Plenty of space and great dog walking area. Well kept, level grass pitches. Obvious owners take a lot of pride in the site- lovely people.
Lots to see and do roundabout and appreciated recommendations from Ged. Great beach nearby, lovely villages and some great walks. Very relaxing few days. If you are travelling to the area we would certainly recommend.
Cost is really reasonable compared with price of other sites
This site is one we will be returning too.

What a gem of a site! This site is absolutely beautiful and we received the best welcome ever.
The facilities are stunning and the whole site is immaculate all the time.
The thought, attention and hard work put into this location is commendable.
Ged and Julia are the most genuine couple you could wish to meet and we look forward to returning next year
Louth town centre and beaches close by to visit, dog friendly.

This was our first time visiting this site and certainly not the last as we have already booked our next trip but this time for the full week. Julia and Ged came out to meet us with the warmest of welcomes and massive smiles.
We knew what to expect as we watch their YouTube channel Behind the Pitches so we felt like we had visited the site many times
The site is situated in a perfect location to use as a base as there are many many places to visit in a short distance from the site hence why we have re booked for a longer stay or perfect if you just need to relax and stay put.
We arrived on a Friday in glorious sunshine so took the opportunity to sit out in the afternoon enjoying a few tipples and we were joined by Julia & Ged and other campers from a few of the other vans on site and what a cracking night had by all.
We took a pleasant walk into Louth via the old train track which took approximately 50 minutes.
Saturday is market day so we enjoyed having a little look around and was pleased to see all the little independent cafes and bistros chocka block, great support for the local businesses.
We have to recommend the Cheese Shop at the bottom end of town where we sampled a couple of the small quiches and a lamb & mint pasty yum yum (definitely a must visit).
The showers and toilet facilities are second to none, lovely hot powerful showers with the decoration and finishing touches fabulous.
I can go on and on but why don't you go and see for yourselves what this little site has to offer, far better than the bigger regimented lack lustre sites in our opinion.

Absolutely one of the best sites I’ve ever stayed at, the owners Jed and Julia are so friendly and helpful.
The facilities are the best kept I have ever come across on a campsite, so clean and decorated to the highest standards so much so actually better than some hotels I’ve stayed in !
If Carlsberg did campsites then this is probably it ??
Looking forward to our next trip hopefully sooner rather than later
