1st time for us at this site, having tried several others in the area previously. Booking was easy and Roger was efficient with details of the site and access codes for the site and shower block.

The site itself is quite small, and the pitches are fairly large and flat, no blocks required. There are several hard standings with serviced pitches. The shower block is new with male and female areas and a large disabled room. The actual bathrooms are clean and airy with new facilities, the actual shower cubicles are large and would be excellent for families with children. Plenty of hot water. There were no privacy cubicles, but not an issue for me.

Roger came around each evening and was very welcoming and helpful.

The upside is that the site is next to a wonderful garden centre that has an excellent café/restaurant. Wonderful cooked breakfasts.

Excellent location for dog walks, and general walking along the coastal path. My only reservations are that depending on how many are in the camping field during the height of summer the facilities could be crowded.

The only negative for me, which is easily resolved is that there were no recycling bins. Everything into one bin!

Would definitely use this site again

A small site with hard standings for caravans. Gated barrier code to arrive/leave park. Very rustic/green and a quite site.

Nicely fitted and heated toilet and shower block with wash up area but other than that there is nothing else here.

Pitch black when it goes dark too no lights. Good location for visiting lively Lancaster. On arrival and the duration of our stay we didn't see any staff or the owner.

Lovely site situated next to garden centre and golf club but secluded enough not to notice. Great shower and toilet block. Didn’t see any staff which is good but had contact number if any problems. Right on the Wyre Estuary. Good walkway to Glasson Dock or Lancaster in the other direction. Well worth £20 a night. Will be visiting again.

Excellent Stay. Warm welcome on arrival at this new site just outside Lancaster on the Ashton Hall Estate. Access is easy from main road and has barrier access, suitable for all sized units. The pitches are all long hard standing and all roads are hardcore. Nice spacing between pitches, all units face same direction overlooking the woods and estuary. All pitches have water and drainage, half have power hookup as well.

Facilities are outstanding, all new and very high standard with full bathroom facilities, laundry and covered food/dish washing area.

There is a large garden center with cafe and a golf center on the Ashton Hall Estate with access from the site. Very quiet site with excellent walking opportunities direct from the site. The stork pub is 15 min towards Glasson walking, it does good food and is dog friendly.

Still doing some finishing touches with groundworks and planting but has the makings of an excellent site.
