This is a really lovely site in a beautiful, peaceful location.

We were lucky with the weather and had a very enjoyable stay.

We were made very welcome - thank you!

Lovely quiet site, very friendly hospitable hosts.

I had my two dogs with me, who were made very welcome, as was I.

Some lovely walks, especially to and along The South Downs.

Off the beaten track peace and quiet.

Interesting site! I wanted a basic site - and I got it. Facilities were just a tiny loo and hand basin with hot water and drinking water in the field via a tap plus a few bins.

Only three visitors the night I was there, so very quiet and chilled. The site comprises of two large grassy fields, which are fairly flat, with trees around the boarder which provide shade and shelter.

They are part of a smallholding off a very quiet local road which includes a farmhouse, a workshop, stables and training areas for horses.

David, who runs the site with his wife Jackie (who I did not meet) is a really nice guy. I chatted with him after paying my £20 pitch fee, while he milked a goat!

There are two pubs nearby and that's about it! So if you want a quiet pitch with basic facilities - then this is the place for you.

Well kept, very clean, quiet and beautiful location.

Would definitely come back.

Only downside is that you feel like you're in someone's back garden a bit. As it is a field behind someone's house.

But the hosts were lovely and we enjoyed seeing the animals around their property.

What was not to like? I've never stayed anywhere as peaceful and my wife managed to survive without a shower for one night.

There is a toilet at the main house which is fine and two (maybe more) taps over the large two fields so we just filled up on arrival and chilled out.

It's 10/10 from us because they're up front about the facilities and it is in a lovely part of the world.

The Queen's Head is close by if you are after a pub (although it was temporarily closed at the moment)

Fabulous site and no awkward feelings being on my own!

Very peaceful and yet in the lovely village of West Chiltington and two pubs and vineyards within walking distance.

Easy reach of the South Downs and I could see the sea from there, glorious countryside.

The owners, Jackie and David, were extremely helpful, easy directions to great places,

I’ll be back in the near future that’s for sure.

We loved our long weekend here. David and Jackie are really lovely and couldn’t have been more helpful.

We loved our walk to the vineyard for lunch and the local pub has great bitter.

The change of pace was perfect and the site is so peaceful.

We loved watching the sunset waking to the birds. Magical!
