Easy to find, post code in TomTom worked fine. Lots of room to manoeuvre caravan on a large flat field. Owner helpful although choose to talk from behind glass door? Bikes would be useful at this site as there are many cycle paths to Lancaster & onto Morecambe. Just 2 toilets & showers for each sex, but seemed adequate. Lots of touring vans permanently parked on site & owners were very friendly. Overall a good site.

Lovely little site that evokes all that is basic camping. Well maintained with nice outlooks. Facilities basic but good. Toilet block a bit of a walk at 2 in the morning. Fantastic stop over point if travelling on M6 , almost 5 mins away .A quiet, well maintained and pleasant site. DO bring insect repellent, I'm scratching as I write this.

£14 per night for tent, 2 adults, 2 children and a toddler.
Stopped off heading south on M6 (very close to M6 but not close enough for traffic to be any problem). Very friendly owner who gave good advice in relation to walks in nearby Caton (also good for shops etc) Wide open space for kiddies to run around but you'll have to go into Caton for any sort of walks. These are excellent and go along the river.
Shower and toilet facilities excellent and overall a pleasent stay for a night.

We stayed over here twice whilst going and coming from Dumfries. The site seemed fine - no shop but good toilets and showers.
This is a farm site ie not many lights and long grass but was fine for us.
I can't really comment on the surrounding area as we weren't there that long. On the first evening, we were late so were ok to park the motorhome by the gates (which is useful to know).
