Superb location tucked away in this quiet village but central for investigating the coast, the North Yorkshire Moors and the Howardian Hills with all the picturesque villages that abound.

Beautifully kept campsite and facilities. Apple orchard situation with well spaced and level hardstandings. Electricity and water to each pitch.

Footpath to a local pub that served us a very good meal. Looked inside the cottages and farmhouse - all seemed to be up to the same high standard. What more could you want!

We had 2 nights here and loved it, The New Owners made us feel very welcome always there to help if you need it but never crowding over you. The village is lovely.

The site is well kept and A great dog walking area, joining to a footpath that runs along side the village. Anyone wanting a meal or a pint the footpath take you straight to the pub, A 5 minute walk if that. The site was very peaceful and quiet.

The facilities were well kept and loads of room in the shower. It’s definitely one to go back to in the future

Gem of a little site. Have visited previously and there is something very peaceful about this old orchard. New owners from this month. Very pleasant and helpful. Usually around somewhere but not too much.

Dogs actually, ‘welcome’, as opposed to, ‘tolerated’, (i. E. , those sites who advertise themselves as, ‘dog-friendly’).

No restrictions about walking your dog on site – so much easier than having to take them off-site. On leads and clear up after them, as to be expected.

However, there is a very pleasant little dog walk right by side of old orchard – very useful for first and last walks of the day.

Interesting array of elderly farm machinery displayed around this very spacious site.

Usual facilities – EHU, hard-standing, very generous areas of grass between pitches, toilets, showers, water to every pitch, chemical waste disposals. Everything you need.

Adjoining field of cows and some geese somewhere. Lovely sounds, but not intrusive. This site is particularly quiet and peaceful. Adults only.

Very easy to find the site.

Also very easy access to Scarborough with loads of varied places of interest to visit including a huge beach, a large portion of which, is available for dogs to run free.

Many other nearby visitor attractions but which are far enough away for traffic never to be a problem.

Location perfect for visiting the coast, The Dales and The North York Moors and all places in between.

Special mention about the marvelous Helmsley Walled Gardens, 20 miles away and situated beneath the ruins of Helmsley Castle. The gardens promote horticultural therapy and there is full wheelchair access throughout, and also wheelchairs for visitors to use.

These gardens are a living testament to a courageous woman who had a vision and followed it through.

Will definitely be returning to this site.

Have just returned from a few days at this lovely little adult only site. The owners were very welcoming and left us alone once we were settled on our pitch. We arrived on a Tuesday and, until the Friday, we were the only ones on the site although there were a few seasonal caravans on the other pitches. All areas of this campsite were very well maintained. The pitches are all hardstandings and level. We chose this site as it was central for where we wanted to visit, so well suited for the coast and also the moors. Visited Pickering and Goathland. Always a treat. Also Whitby (you have to!). Visited Helmsley on the Friday as it was market day. A lovely little place. Also, Rievaulx Abbey and Terrace. Have been to this area a few times over the years and will be back as there's so much to see and do. If you like to treat yourself to fish and chips, the little shop in Thornton le Dale is worth a visit. Very tasty and not overpriced.

Beautiful, peaceful site. Lovely, old apple orchard surrounded by dry stone wall at the back of old farmhouse. Very pleasant, helpful owners, friendly dog, chickens with natty little hen-houses on two sides of the orchard - but no bother re noise.

Dogs welcomed, which is great. Toilets, etc. Spotless. Reasonable rates. Ebberston looks to be a very well-kept village with brook running either side of main street. Visit the local bakery! Very easy road access to Scarborough and Whitby. Scarborough is very well worth a visit, especially the miniature railway and Peasholm Park. Whitby did not impress - very crowded and little of interest, although Abbey was closed.

Definitely will be returning to Studley House Farm.

Agree with all previous comments a very nice site with very nice people running it and an interesting collection of laying hens in the field next door.

The bus is infrequent but reliable and not cheap unless you have a pass.

The local pub is the Grapes which seems to be a bit hit and miss and the cask beer is far too cold!

Got bus to Pickering and then on steam railway to Whitby which is a must.

Did the same to Scarborough which is not so nice but Castle worth a visit and the Scarborough Arms just down the road from it!

To sum up a well located site for all sorts of things.

A little Gem, and the owners were very welcoming, the only down fall I had was there was no WiFi, it was limited to the bottom part of the field near the house, but every think else was 100%, the toilets & showers were very clean, lots of hot water, and its not one of them little money grabing 20p slot showers, over all GREAT PLACE - GREAT PEOPLE

This is a adult only site we have returned to it as we liked it so much last year. It is based in a quiet village called ebberston there are no shops there is a pub within 10 mins walk. Buses stop outside the site, it is roughly halfway between pickering and scarborough. The toilets and washroom and one shower are very clean, there is a disabled toilet and wash room as well they hire out 3 cottages. The site itself is very pleasant it was a orchard and all the plots are hardstanding as well as a good area of grass for sitting outside there was room for 12 units or so. A lot of people return it is very peacful. Covered area for washing pots.

Water tap on pitches. 40 mins to scarborough on bus. Plenty of walking areas and within driving distance of moors and whitby 10 mile to pickering.

at £17 per night was well worth it. The owners are very nice and pleasant.

We have just spent 5 nights at this little gem of a site.

Just 8 caravans on this Adults Only site, very peaceful, extremely clean and well looked after, lovely owners. Hard standing, own water supply on each pitch, well looked after grass, and lovely views over the Vale of Pickering.

Everyone we met was very friendly, and it is an ideal place for touring the area, within easy reach of the moors and the coastal towns.

I would recommend this site to anyone looking for a peaceful location but within reach all the tourist attractions North Yorkshire has to offer.

1st time we've been to this site and we made a good choice. We were welcomed by very pleasant owners when we arrived. We were showed to our pitch which was hard standing. The site had a lovely set out and was very peaceful. The toilets were very clean and the shower was hot and clean.

Thornton le Dale and Pickering are nice places to visit and not far away by car. Would definitely recommend this site. Note this is adults only site
