 We spent nine nights at faskally using the site as a base to tour the highlands. Although the weather wasn't the best the site drained really well and the pitch was a good size.
The facilities were second to none very clean and well kept. The bar/restaurant was reasonably priced and my wife enjoyed the pool and its facilities, the shop was well stocked and good on price. Although we had no children with us the children on the site had plenty of room to play and the play area was well used by all the children on the site and we may be bringing our grandchildren on our next visit.
The staff were very helpful and friendly and made us feel very welcome. We will recommend this site to all our friends and will definitely be returning in the future.

Tv reception ok. Good phone signal.
(For), Easy access. Very nice welcome in reception.
Against; Lack of signage when looking for pitch numbers. And Pitch numbers when found are set in the grass on the floor, so you have to keep getting out of the car to keep checking you’re in the right area. We had been assigned to a tent area even though it was sloping, and muddy in parts where awnings or Large tents had been. Views of the hills beyond but overlooking a sea of static caravans. Did not use showers or toilets. Only one chemical disposal, set behind the reception on a narrow path, this for over 70+ tourers.
If you’re feeling fit you can walk to Pitlochry along the footpath or along the riverside, though I did neither. Overall not my kind of site but nearest to Pitlochry.

Just returned from 5 day stay here Mon-Fri. The site is mostly static caravan and chalet accommodation, and being at the end of the off-peak stay was largely unoccupied until the Friday night, when weekenders arrived.
We were made very welcome by the lady in the shop who took the time to explain the site facilities and the surrounding area, and tell us about walks (dog walks) we could use while there.
Well stocked shop on site, we are used to fending for ourselves so didn't make much use of it, great for emergencies.
Onsite bar and restaurant but not dog friendly so we spent our money elsewhere. (lots of dog friendly places in Pitlochry, great to escape the rain)
Site is very close to A9 and A925? main route to Pitlochry, so some road noise can't be unexpected. Wasn't an issue.
The tent field was very well situated for the toilet block. Toilets and site are well maintained and kept clean and tidy. Unless you are being a nuisance you will be left alone.
We had some very heavy rain showers, virtually every day, but the site did not become that boggy.
Located very close to Pitlochry (walkable along the river or a shorter route by the main road) and Killiecrankie (not much there).
We used the site as a base to venture out to Kinloch Rannoch and Dunkeld.
All the tent pitches have hook up.
Enjoyed our stay, would come again as a 1 night stopover.

Just returned from week there, toilets/showers were fine said was entertainment one night a week in high season bit shocking, them amount you pay for week you still need to pay for swimming pool ok £2 but not price its prinsable of it, then amusments they had 8 machines 4 were out of order leaving 2 sweet ones and 2 slots will I return don't think so.

Was at Fascally Caravan site this weekend. Really enjoyed the peace and quite. Lovely clean site. Toilet block/showers very clean lovely hot shower. Bar/Restaurant which we didn't use as had a dog and didn't want to leave him in motorhome but seemed lovely will definitely go back.

A mixed review of a one-night stopover. Close to the A9, but little road noise. The site is largely statics, the motorhome / caravan area is at the bottom of the hill. We arrived without booking, the shop / reception was shut, a passer-by said to check at the bar and there we were told to take a pitch and pay in the morning. So - good customer service; £23 for hardstand, EHU and 2 people, about the going rate in the area.
There's a good on-lead dog walk through the neighbour's woods to an open field by the river. The EHUs are located around the play area, so it was very noisy (children largely unsupervised) until it was too dark to play.
Good roomy toilet block, but most of the gents cubicles were vandalised in the evening (too foul to use), so it was closed at 0900 for deep cleaning. Ladies closed at 10:00 - not convenient, I didn't get a shower. £23 for 2 adults, dog & EHU. We'd stopover again, but a holiday? No.

Good site good facilities handy for Pitlochry. September weekend was very busy however the staff had the site well organised. Never tried the food as we ate in town where the choice is fairly good. Great walk along the river to Pitlochry which is a very nice town.
Handy for a9 If you want to travel about and visit other places. Would recommend a walk at the hermitage centre then fish supper in dunkeld. Best chippie ever. The site is great for kids however if you don't have any maybe ask for a pitch closer to the shop as play park at the other end is busy with kids morning to night. All in all a great site. We have now used it three times with no complaints.

I so love this site that this was my 5th or 6th visit. Each visit has always shown improvements being made, not that it wasn't good to start with.
Iain the owner or manager was extremely helpful to us and was very courteous each and every time we came across each other.
A very tidy an exceptionally clean site. The toilet facilities were brilliant, clean and had plenty of hot water, Ample wash basins and showers available.
The bar/restaurant was fine but lacking in any entertainment. The food was ok, though not brilliant.
The swimming pool and Jacuzzi was 5star. A small amusement arcade seem to keep the kids happy, Not to mention the pool tables to amuse the grown up kids too
Overall a great holiday and will definitely be going again. Its a great base to get out and explore the wonderful Scottish country with many attractions all within an hour or less drive.
Thanks Iain and collegues for a very comfortable stay.

We were on a hard standing pitch at the bottom of the site, we were ideally placed for toilets, shop and most importantly the Bar.
There pitches that are only for motorhomes or campervans and thes come with a water tap at each pitch, its a shame this facility couldn't be extended to some of the hard standing pitches opposite.
The mens Shower / toilet block was always nice and clean and plenty of hot water. Only bad thing was lack of hooks and I hate these shower curtains that always seem to cling to you. Apparently the ladies showers weren't the best and could be doing with some TLC.
The meal menu in the bar was basic but there were some specials on the board. The meals were very enjoyable and reasonably priced so no complaints.
The site has a well stocked shop and prices are the same as your typical corner shop. You need to book the swimming and children under 15 must be supervised by an adult. The rates for the swimming were very cheap £1 for a child and £2 for an adult for a 90 minute session. (If the supervising adult was only sitting at the side of the pool they didn't need to pay the £2. )
The site makes an ideally based for touring the surrounding area, we had a very enjoyable stay, and don't see any reason to go anywhere else if visiting this area again.

First time here, not to bad, only bad points I could see, only one chemical toilet station, no hooks in shower cubicles, paid £30 for wifi for myself and my wife signal totally crap waste of money, top of site on a bit of a slope for tourers, not far to Pitlochry a very nice little town, bottom half of site is more suited for touring vans

Very large, busy site. Great for families etc staying for a week or more, not for people wanting calm and quiet.
We were on a one night stopover from the Highlands to home.
Site was very well maintained, all facilities there was plenty of and immaculate.
Greated by two really friendly ladies on reception who gave us all the details not just of the park but surrounding area.

We had a great time here trying out our new tent, we checked in very quickly and were greeted by 2 lovely girls, we were given a map to our pitch, the pitch was on a slight slope which was not an issue at all, the road was behind us but there are trees between the road and campsite and it wasn't a very busy road so it was still very quiet, infront of us was beautiful breathtaking scenery, there were loads of toilets and showers and they were the cleanest I have seen! Also there were plenty sheltered washing up areas👍
On the Friday night we took the dog and 3 kids a walk through the path in the woods we wore our head torches and the kids really enjoyed it,
On Saturday we walked down to the river and skimmed stones, found a tree swing and build a den it was a lovely walk, we then took the kids to the play park which had something in it for all ages,
After lunch we went to the swimming which was lovely and warm, the jacuzzi wasn't on but we couldn't use it anyway as we had the kids but we will use it along with the sauna next time! There was a small arcade area for kids and a bar/restaurant, we didn't eat in there only because we were on a budget and wanted to practice cooking with our camping gear, however my friend who recommended the site to us, said that the burgers are faskally are the best he ever tasted!
The shop was well stocked and prices were very reasonable. Some things are cheaper than the local corner shop at home!
We will definitely return again probably this year :) x

Another enjoyable visit to Faskally. Breathtaking scenery, lovely walks along the river and a jaw dropping visit to the house of Bruar (what a place). Downside-we were situated at the park. Very noisy till very late. Would recommend a separate ball area away from the vans. Still worth a visit though

Had a great 5 days, gorgeous weather, we were in a tent nice pitch although you are on a slope I think they all are, the road is nearby its a bit noisy but bothered other people more than us, the shop is great but atm no longer works so take cash or nip into pitlochry, the pool and sauna were both lovely, the bar and restaurant were both very good food is great id recommend fish finally my wife and daughters said the ladies toilet block was not clean even after it being cleaned apparently there is a burst toilet ?? We had no such probs in gents toilets and showers were always spotless

Arrived into the 'tent field' to find limited drinking water supply (we had to ask at the shop where this was)eh 1 tap! for tent field!. Dish washing facilities were beside the resident/touring vans. Not enough bins (central beside toilets)None to the top side of the field
Pool was great but hot tub out of order.
unknown to us, you need to buy tickets for the pool at the shop
Overall. On a slight slope depending on rhe pitch
NO CHARGE for late check out. We left at 5pm
Could be doing with a play area for kids nearer the tent field.
