 Nice friendly, level campsite, River Monnow at one end and the Offas Dyke Path ridge walk on the other. We camped at this site doing the Monnow Valley Walk and it is ideal for this. Showers were roomy, hot and free but only two. If the campsite were full, this could be a problem with only one w/c as well.
The owners were friendly and the pub, just a minutes walk up the road was great, they seem to serve meals nonstop. There is also a village shop just pass the pub, so everything is to hand. Not ideally situated if doing the Offas Dyke as you have to descend.From the ridge and obviously go back up in the morning. Would make a good base to explore this area and there is plenty to see.
