We stayed on the Top Field - bank holiday weekend, not crowded. Absolutely lovely place...could quite easily live there 365 days!!! Tucked away no problems for children who could play safely. Could make a lot of improvements but it is nice anyway...so peaceful. Water tap in Top Field would be very useful, could easily be done as there is a house in the top field so water supply is already there. Very friendly...you must all go and try it.

A very pleasant, well kept CL site surrounded by open countryside that also has a rally field in which we were pitched. This `top field` has about 10 EHU`s and during our 3 night stay there were 11 caravans/motorcaravans all very well spaced and most faceing South for all day sunshine.
The farmhouse/B&B courtyard buildings include a toilet & single shower room with wc which was immaculately clean and quite adequate to say the site was busy. The shower took tokens but you got enough time to shower & shampoo 2 adults (I would say 10-15 minutes) with 1 token. Newspapers could be ordered at the house.

The only minor grumbles I have are the trudge down from the rally field to the courtyard for water (uphill on the way back!) & across the other side of the CL site to empty grey & chemical waste, although both are not a problem if you are pitched on the CL which is adjacent to the cortyard.
The farm has cows and we saw 2 new calves born during our stay.

This site is well located for visting Ashby Castle, Bosworth Battlefield, Battlefield Line steam railway & museum at Shackerstone, Ashby Canal with variuos boat trips, Tamworth Castle and Mallory Park race circuit.
Measham House Farm is on our visit again list!
