We have just come back from 4 nights at Gees. We will be going back!
We found the site to be quiet, owners really helpful, and a brilliant position. As there is no clear central area it looks tight, but actually the pitch was plenty big enough, and clearly marked out. The grass is cut regularly. There are EHU's and a Elsan point.
There is a big rec/park within 5 min walk, so is the beach, shops, cafe pub & takeaways. I didn't use the car whilst we were there. The loos and shower were clean, Yes you do need to take your own loo roll, but easy to get into once you remember. Showers and hot water for washing up 20p (Think washing up sink only in the ladies?! Other half would like hot tap in gents for shaving) is my only criticism. Very reasonable pitch rates, my kids loved it wanted to stay longer.

Site good = new wardens since I visited in 2007 who are very friendly and helpful. I understand the fight mentioned in another review was when the warden asked visitors to turn down their loud music. Enjoyed my visit and looking forward to the next. The beach was only five minutes away and pubs, shops and restaurants in walking distance. I even used the bus service to Chichester which was fine.

This being our 1st visit to this campsite have to give it a thumbs up! Was made very welcome by the campsite manager(s)as very friendly and helpful too. Site very clean and tidy good size pitch for both our tent and car. Clean shower/toilet blocks.Dogs allowed on site as long as always on a lead. Other users friendly, even our daughter made a friend of the same age. Local shops, beach, pub and a number of takeaway places within 10 mins walking from the camp site. A very friendly family pub restaurant called the lively lady served good food till late and dogs allowed in beer garden. Great public walk ways for walking the dog and even found a couple of well thought of play parks for the kids, and playing fields for dog to run around in. Remember to take 20 pence pieces with you for the showers, and your own toilet rolls. But hey a small price to pay for a well looked after campsite.Only down side was dogs not allowed on beach! We will be going back again real soon as we all loved it!

Our much awaited holiday was ruined because although we booked over 3 months in advance (an offered to bring down a deposit which she rejected) - when we phoned to confirm a few days prior to arriving, the new lady owner told us that she had double-booked everyone. Her reasons were that she was worried no-one would turn up, so she covered her options by overbooking the whole site. She told us there was going to be a party on the Saturday and that we might be able to cut our week's holiday short and come on the Monday. This left us with a frantic campsite search two days before the start of our holiday. Thankfully, we managed to find a lovely campsite near Salisbury where the owners knew what they were doing. We have been to Gees on a number of occasions over the past years and have had no previous trouble with our booking - in fact the previous owner was a lovely old man and it was a cheap and cheerful holiday.

Just returned from a visit here.. Site tightly packed. Loud music and talking until late and even a fight! Not at all suitable for people with children.
Campsite Manager lives on-site.
A very simple small site, about 10 minutes walk from Bracklesham Bay Beach.
2 toilets, 1 shower for each sex - 20p for showers, and 20p also required for hot water for washing up or washing. Toilet paper is not provided, you must bring your own. Barbecues not allowed.

A lovely site near the sea.
I have used it for 19 years and found it very pleasant peaceful and everyone very helpful
This year sees a change of management and wish them all the best.
It has the basic facilites at 20p a time for a shower.
Its bonus is that shops pubs beach is close by, therefor you dont need to drive, therefore you can relax and enjoy the sunshine as it can be a proper suntrap which usually comes out between 10 and 11 am.
The beach is great for looking for sharks teeth and surfing, I love the way when the tides out familys play rounders volleyball etc. Everyone gets involved like it was years ago.
Dogs are all welcome on a lead.

A very simple small site, about 10 minutes walk from Bracklesham Bay Beach. 2 toilets, 1 shower for each sex - 20p for showers, and 20p also required for hot water for washing up or washing. TOILET PAPER IS NOT PROVIDED - YOU MUST BRING YOUR OWN, which caused us issues when we arrived at the site, desperate! Campsite Manager lives on-site, and can be strict and quite vocal. Would only go back for 1 night if we wanted to stay next to the beach.
