 Stayed for one night on way up to Scotland. A beautifully preened site located in front of the owner's farmhouse. The owner and her children are lovely, as is their sheep dog and all their cats (lots of them)!
My brother and I ventured up the hill to the local village and found the pub which has been controversially renovated, apparently the locals were not too happy, but we got a good few pints out of it before heading back.
The only down side was that there were no washing up facilities and I wouldn't have thought you could stay for too long before you exhausted the immediate area, but I'd definitely recommend for a stop-over.
