Site is located within easy distance of Bognor and the sea front which is what we required. Flat bike ride to the sea front and then an enjoyable day sun bathing is rare 2012 sunshine.
Lunch was in a fantastic 'deli' cooking fresh food and at cheap prices - not sure how they can do it! Then we bought some wonderful fresh meals to cook in our motorhome the next day, exceptional value. The food was Simply Delicious which was the name of the deli which is in a street just off the seafront near the pier.
Will visit again.

Overall a very nice site, the below review is purely from our stay at the park, which was only for one night as a stop over before coming home.
We are a young family with a 2 and a 4 year old, we arrived quite late but were welcomed with a smile and more assistance from the wardens than you would expect. We were given all that we needed and due to the young family we were given an extra key for the toddler and baby room, which was perfect. It had a small bath, small toilet baby change and was centrally heated. We had been away for a long weekend and this was the first place where we could bath and clean the kids thoroughly, a big thumbs up for that idea.
The amenities block in general was very clean and well equipped with privacy areas for sinks and for the showers, again centrally heated and pleasant background music.
We were in a campervan and on a hard standing (gravel) with power, the lead easily reached our van.
Due to our short stay we didn’t use anything else but there was a KFC across the road, a Burger King and a Pizza Hut within easy walking distance, we opted for pizza.
Regarding the road noise people have written about, Yes in the dead of night I could hear the odd car but nothing drastic. If you look up the website for this park you’ll see that at the moment they tell you there are roadworks on the main road outside. A very considerate site giving fair warning before you book.
Highly recommended and if I decide to spend more time in Bognor Regis I’d stay again definitely.

Just returned from the site, and had a wonderful time the staff had a great display of centenary of the 60's and the welcome fantastic.
My grandson is only 2 and half, so the playground was too old for him better for over 5's as noted on the board, would like a little slide or couple of tiny play things, but overall impressed with the rubber safety flooring.
The toilets are superb piped music in the toilets, children's toilet and wash facilities excellent.
The only bug bear was having to remember the key to the toilets, but I can see the reasons behind that.
The grounds are so pretty and the trees very well spaced out,
Would certainly return again to this lovely site, some noise from road but not too overbearing.

We echo all the praise for the site on the other reviews. Everything was excellent as you would expect from a Caravan Club Site.
Although full for most of our 10 day stay over the August Bank Holiday, we never found queues at the facilities and the neighbours were quiet.
Only one slight drawback. We arrived later than intended due to a lengthy hold up (2+ hours) at A34 / M3 junction, which meant we had little choice of pitch and had to settle for one backing onto the traffic island (A29). This did cause disturbed sleep that night.
We approached the wardens next day and were able to move to a pitch on the other side of the site that became vacant that morning. We barely heard the traffic after that.
Shopping very handy, although not over impressed with Bognor. The rest of the area was superb.
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would certainly go back.

A truly fantastic site. Excellent toilets, shower block, well maintained site. Absolutely charming wardens, warm welcomes and nothing was too much trouble for them. As I am disabled, I needed door to door access form taxis, visitors etc, and did not present any problems at all.
On this occasions there was only my husband and me, but future visits will include our dog, and our granddaughter aged 7.
Shops and attractions were only couple of hundreds yards away (mega Tesco), and a good 15min walk into Bognor Regis itself.
We will certainly be back!

A very nice campsite, toilets are very clean, and you don`t have to keep pressing for the water to come out of the shower !.
You can walk into bognor, if you feel active about 20 minutes. Or catch the bus number 66 and it will cost £2. 00 return, The more mature people no bus passes can used till after 09. 30am.
If you need food, there is a lidal shop across the road. Mind the traffic can be busy in the rush hour! Also there is a tesco store about 5 minutes drive away towards bognor, if you need fuel.
The wardens were very helpful and always on the go,
The nearest pubs are in bognor and there is a British legion club, but not open all day.

Much has already been said about the excellent facilities at this site and the issue of road noise. Just to add a couple of personal comments. Action has been taken recently to resolve the 'Boy Racer' problems associated with Rowan Way.
During our one week stay this was not a problem. However, the A29 is a major route in and out of Bognor so there is bound to be some vehicle noise. Again, this did not affect us in a caravan but may be apparent to anyone in a tent.
The only (very minor) objective criticism I would have is that of increasing the size of the pitch numbers. The layout is a little confusing and some are not easy to see from the road if a specific one has been suggested.
Finally, I would like to express our thanks to the two couples who manage this location. All were friendly and more than just helpful on the occasions we needed their advice and service.

We decided to stay at Rowan Park for a number of reasons - it's close to the seaside resort of Bognor Regis, it's my namesake, it's close to family and it's only 40 minutes tow from our home. Anyway, we had a great time.
The park is very well kept (typical Caravan Club standards) and the wardens were very nice. When we arrived there were only a handful of pitches left but we found a nice grass standing and it didn't feel too packed in.
Toilet blocks were neat and tidy and there was plenty of hot water. Some reviews note the road noise and, although you could hear some, it wasn't that bad. We were very close to the main road but it was a gentle background hum while we were there - no doubt the large tree screen helps.
The site is within ten minutes of the coast and although Bognor Regis is not in the top league of seaside resorts, it is still a lovely town with a good selection of shops, eateries and a nice beach. If you decide to stay on site, just over the road is a KFC and a Lidl so basics are covered.
Perhaps the only drawback is the lack of a play area for younger children. A slide and some swings would be the icing on the cake.

Have just returned from a lovely week at Rowan Park, the weather did help sunny & mild!
Road noise was a little louder than I can remember have stayed on Rowan Park before but nearer to reception, this time I was near the children's park which backs on the A29
Didn't have a car as husband went back to work, we used the buses to go into Bognor £4.55 return (one adult and two children).
We went to Butlins for the day my daughter saw a sign in reception that they had discounted tickets adults @ £10.00 instead of £15.00 and children's @ £5.00 instead of £7.50 for the day,we walked down which wasn't that far if you cut through Hotham Park and we got a taxi back to the caravan park for only £5.00.
You have Lidl just across the road from the site and a large Tesco about 15mins walk from the entrance of the site and there are plenty of fast food outlets KFC, Pizza Hut & Burger King all within walking distance.

I hadn't used this site for several years and was surprised to see how busy the area had become. The road noise was very intrusive and in the evening, the local 'boy racers' with their megawatt sound systems seemed to use the main road as a drag strip.
The site itself cannot be faulted, but I wouldn't use it for more than an overnight stop. There are other quieter sites in the area.
