 Really convenient for castleton. However quite expensive considering there are no showers and only two toilets which are shared by men and women and are next door to each other. I went in the morning after a bloke had been in and left retching.
I'd probably not return due to this issue tbh. Single sex toilets are important to me as is a shower.

Stayed overnight as the site was closest to the Devil's Arse where we we were going to a concert.
Nice grass pitch with great views.
Facilities basic, but clean, with a well stocked farm shop.
Cost £40 for 3 adults, which is high for the facilities available, but fair enough when the location is factored in.
Would go again 😀

What an amazing site. Fabulous shower and toilet block.
Beautiful scenery with river and fishing lake.
Breakfast hut from 8 30 to 10. 00.
On site shop for your essentials.
Taxi £7. 00 to holmfirth.
Excellent stay if visiting the picturedome. Couldn't fault it in any way. 👍👍👏

Lovely campsite. Very basic facilities with just 2 toilets a washing up sink and water disposal but that's all we needed.
The site is very well cared for, mainly just grass but a few hardstanding with electric. Our camper is self sufficient so not an issue. We rang the number on the gate as we arrived to see if there was room for us and was told yes.
Also they have a great little farm shop and the walk into castleton village is 10 mins away.
And the most important bit. The owners of the this site are lovely, really friendly and helpful.

Stayed here for one night as a weekend break.
The owner was really lovely.
Toilets were kept clean (there are no showers on site though!).
There is a farm shop where you can get basics etc, which was great.
They also keep animals and there’s opportunities to feed the rabbits.
Was a very lovely stay.

Last minute on the day decision to join some friends camping. I called up and the owners were very helpful in securing me a pitch, and I arrived within 2 hours!
Lovely quiet site, ideal location for walks, close to pubs etc, a farm shop on site with everything you could need and the owners are very friendly.
Toilets nice and clean, grass cut and maintained and can leave your car on day of departure for an extra charge, which is very handy!
Would definitely recommend and will 100% come back.

Enjoyed my stay. Level ground with mown grass.
Toilets are basic but very clean and well maintained.
Nice little on site shop.
Friendly owner.

Lovely site 2 min walk from the centre of castleton.
Nice little Farm Shop on site and Jo, the owner, is lovely, couldn't be more helpful.
Would definitely stay again.

Second time we've stayed here, we stayed 2years ago and must say the site has altered considerably.
There are toilets/ water/ elsan point.
The site is surrounded by beautiful open countryside, the town is roughly a 10 minutes stroll away and the staff are nice people
