This is a Lovely site, received a friendly welcome when checking in.
Great location.
It is on the more expensive side but for one night happy to pay that given the location.

Basic but beautiful site, no electric hook up for us, and no showers (lack of facilities is stated on site) so no surprises,
The farm shop is excellent,
Ideal for us as we were going to watch a gig at The Devils Arse, just a short walk and we were told a short cut through the site, bonus,
Lovely and friendly very clean, will definitely stay again,

Great 2 night stay at Holmesfield.
Met up with some friends for a back to basics catch up. (all HM forces veterans )
Nice level pitches- as some of us were tenting and some had campers the owners accommodated us no problems all in the same area. Clean toilets - now there’s no showers on site but if you know - you know how to have a “field wash” it’s no drama - get some water on the boil - get some soap and flannel and the rest is easy ??
Super friendly hosts & a very easy 5 min( if that ) walk into Caselton.
Will we be back ? Oh yes - !
Cheers Holmesfield Farm

Lovely campsite! The staff are very helpful and welcoming.
Travelled with friends first time going camping and we really enjoyed it.
This site has very nice toilet facilities, and the on site shop is good to look in.
Short walk into castleton village and so scenic wherever you looked from the campsite.
Everyone we spoke to whilst here was very friendly and many people frequently stay at this site so happily gave us advice on places to go/things to see.
There are a few bar/restaurants, cafes, a good shop, and surrounded by nice areas to walk/hike.
Would definitely come back good value for money all around.

This place is a gem. The scenery is simply stunning. There are walking routes all around.
The village is 10 minutes walk at most.
The toilets make you happy.
The people running it are cool and relaxed. They have a great farm shop. And there are no kids. I have many kids so it wouldn't be perfect for my family, but when I'm away from my family. *chef's kiss*.

We stayed at the campsite for the first time this weekend.
We will definitely be back, it is a lovely place, everything is clean, tidy and well maintained.
There are 6 toilets all together and they are all clean. Everyone was friendly and helpful.
The farm shop is fantastic, I had read the reviews and so travelled with an empty fridge and bought supplies for breakfast, the duck eggs and bacon were so delicious, I went back before we left to buy some to take home!
It is in a fantastic position close to the village centre and with lovely views of the castle.
See you again soon!
