Lovely campsite, toilet and shower facilities very clean. Staff were very friendly and helpful and the shop was handy for the essentials we needed. Would definitely reccomend this place. Had trouble finding the place but the owner kindly came to the town centre to meet us and show us the way back, this was very helpful. Good for children as there is a small childrens playground. It is very peaceful and the views are beautiful.

Really nice campsite, the owners are really helpful. We had alot of trouble with our car and they even run us to the town and helped fix it and when we got lost they came to get us. Really peaceful and quiet, a nice play area for children. Nice and cheap with everything you could ever need on site such as showers, washing up facilities and a shop which is open for when you need anything. Highly recommended!

Just had a long weekend at this camp. When we telephoned we where told that the main field was full but they fitted us in over on the static side, where they also had electric hook up points. It was lovely and peaceful the shower block thou on the other side, just across a small country lane was still only about 150 yards away and thou very busy was kept lovely and clean. Good size pitches with plenty of space for the kids to play their ball games, went bat hunting around the old barns in the evening and seen plenty of bats. The surrounding views are breath taking. There's also a small shop which caters for most of your needs at reasonable prices. Also the owners are very friendly and most helpful. Will definitely be returning in the summer hols

The cons - Horrendous access road, mud instead of grass pitches. The view!, crossing a road to get to toilet facilities, kids play area
The pros - Struggling now, the owner was helpful
Well arrived here Wednesday just gone after being given 3 different sets of directions by the owner. Was initially optimistic until we were told the main field was full and we were directed to what I can only assume is the overspill field. We were offered 2 pitches in what I'm guessing was an old pig pen. A huge slope and a large patch of mud to contend with. After refusing we were offered 2 more pitches barely big enough for 2 pup tents let alone family tents. Again with the ongoing theme of mud, mud, mud! Oh and a slab of concrete next to us.
The kids play area consisted of a few logs sunk into the ground and the only toilet and wash facilities were back on the other side of the road. Not good with 2 kids under 8. Didnt see much of the site as we were only there half an hour while we found a new site with our mobiles. The owner was pleasant enough but his site just wasnt up to scratch. After reading the previous reviews I can only assume they all got to stay in the main field, we dont appreciate half built buildings and JCB's along with a mud pit to wake up to.

Have just returned from this site after an extended break. We had originally booked for 6 nights but were that impressed with the site and area decided to stay for an extra 3.
Site is nice and peaceful with a children's play area. There are two areas, statics on one side of the road and tourers / tents on the other. There is a small shop at reception for essentials.
The toilets and showers were spot on (cleaned several times a day), only two showers in each but never had to queue. Two sinks for dish-washing.
Quite a lot to do in the surrounding area. Denbigh is only about 4 miles away and has supermarkets, take aways, leisure centre etc. Lake Brenig is again only about 4 miles away with visitor centre play area and fishing available. Seaside town of Rhyl is about 40 minutes drive away.
Staff are very friendly and offer assistance if required.
Would definitely visit again.

Just returned from 2 nights here and I have got to say excellent little site, spotless free shower block, children's play area, electric hookup on every very pitch also generously sized. The owners even came around Saturday evening to ask if anyone wanted to order the Sunday papers, the site shop provided provisions at very reasonable prices the views from the site were amazing, and there is plenty of opportunity to take in a country walk all this for £15 per night with EHU for a large tent 2 adults and a child. Definitely going back!

My family and I visited this site (our first time camping ever) and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The owners where very friendly and knowledgeable and the other campers / caravanners were pleasant. Along with the price being reasonable we thought that this was the site for us. The site is situated a couple of miles from Denbigh and the area is very, very quiet amid countryside. With this being the first time that any of us had been camping we thought that we would read the reviews on this site and we found them to be very accurate and helpful. One thing that we wanted above anything else was that the toilets/washrooms/showers where clean - and they where, in fact, spotlessly clean and bright and for the three nights which we stayed the water was always hot but not too hot and never warm or cold. I would recommend this site for anyone who wants a bit of piece and quiet along with it being quite central within the North Wales area and easy to find. The children also enjoyed the little play area within the site. An enjoyable stay was had by us all and hopefully we will return.

Found ourselves to be the only campers on site as all others had cancelled due to the rain, but the owners didn't just leave us to it, they couldn't have more helpful. Even though we arrived at 21.30, the owner still came out to make sure we had everything we needed. On the last day, we had a flat battery so the owner allowed us the use of an old banger to jump start it when we were ready to leave as he was going out. Site very clean and tidy with plenty of bins. Heated, clean toilet block with free hot water and a good sized washing up area outside. They've built a little play area for the kids too. By the looks of things, they're looking to improve the site further. Get yourself a pitch up by the trees and you can have your Sunday brekky while listening to the singing in the chapel just over the way. In all a lovely small site with great views.

A great little site, pitch sizes are very generous. Sited in a great location for North Wales coast and surrounding areas. We had electric and had a few things plugged in at once but had no problems, this on a full site at spring bank weekend. Toilets and shower facilities very clean, only two of each but that said never had to queue. Good washing up area for doing the dishes, whole block looks quite new. Great views from site, small shop on site with basics but supermarkets about 4-5 miles away in Denbigh. Owners very friendly and helpful, greeting us on arrival. Only negative for us was that we had people either side who had tv's on late at night(in tents) so was quite loud when wanting to go to bed, but it wouldn't stop us going back. All in all a great site in a great location.
