 We have been to this site a couple of times and will definitely be back. As we have a caravan we do not need the facilities which are basic but adequate.
The owners are extremely friendly and happy to talk and advise on the local area.
During our stays we have visited a couple of the local pubs, only had drinks but both were very friendly, landlords and locals, welcoming dogs as well - always a bonus.
It is usually quiet and there are lanes and paths to go walking.
The site overlooks straight onto a field with long views across the valley.

We have just come back from a weekend at this site. It is on a working farm & is a very small site with about 7 pitches which makes it lovely & quiet. The owners are friendly & helpful.
Facilities are basic - a toilet & a sink, no shower but we managed well. We did have electric hook up. All of this is reflected in the very cheap price. The farm has hens & you can buy fresh eggs. It also has pigs which our dog was fascinated with.
There are a couple of pubs within walking distance but part of the walk is down a country lane so a torch may be needed in the dark. There is a chinese take away in the village & an Indian take away in the next village. The pub serves food which we were told was very good but we didn't try it.
The views are beautiful & uninterrupted. We would definitely return again.

This was a return visit. Although the site is very basic (1 Toilet and 1 pot washing sink) we love it here. There is no shower block so unfortunately that limits us to 1 or 2 nights only! Very friendly owners and quite cheap, £7 per night I think. Lovely views over fields. Five pits trail close by for a walk or a cycle.

Nice relaxing but basic site.
Very friendly people. Old but clean facilities - must add though there is no shower block.
Lots of local countryside walks.
Short drive (or 10 minute walk) to supermarket and takeaway outlets!
Plenty of nearby pubs serving food.
