Lovely campsite with amazing views over the lake. The facilities (toilets, showers, dish washing and toilet disposal )are excellent and very clean. I would agree with previous comments regarding steep hill to toilet block being quite steep and therefore may not be suitable for disabled people. Kids loved the play area and the football pitch. We would definitely stay again when visiting the area.

Rushin House Caravan Park is a small family run site situated on the border of County Fermanagh in Northern Ireland and County Cavan in the Republic of Ireland. It is situated on the banks of Lough MacNean just under one mile from the village of Belcoo in Northern Ireland and just over one mile from Blacklion in the Republic.
The situation is beautiful with uninterrupted views of the lake (as long as you get a pitch on the front row) and the hills around the surrounding area. It can take 25 caravans/camper wagons on very spacious concrete hard standing pitches, each of which has its own electric hook up (20A), water tap and drain. A criticism would be that these concrete pitches are so wide that there really is little or no room for an awning. The site has very high standard toilet / shower / camping kitchen facilities which are clean and heated. It also has a good play area for kids, although some caution is needed with children on this caravan park due to its lakeside situation. Another minor gripe would be that despite having gone to the trouble of having concrete bases for each pitch, these are not level (side to side). I had to use a leveller under one wheel.
My wife and I were pleasantly surprised when the site owner visited us shortly after we had arrived to check if we needed any help and to make sure we knew where the facilities were located.
This would be one of the most remote sites in Northern Ireland at roughly 100 miles from Belfast (or any of the ferry ports for entry to Northern Ireland), but fortunately the roads to this area from Belfast are excellent and certainly would be a pleasant surprise to people who have only caravanned in the Republic of Ireland.
As stated in the owners own write up this park is close to numerous visitor attractions in what is one of Ireland's most scenic areas, but is also well located for anyone heading either from the Belfast area or the ports to tour down the west coast of the Republic of Ireland, to use as a stopover.
While the site is not perfect (due to lack of awning space) it is without doubt one of the nicest sites on the island.

We came upon this little gem while touring Ireland and I really did think of being very selfish and keeping it to myself. However the friendly and knowledgeable owners who clearly strive for perfection deserve better than that.
The toilet blocks are immaculate and house a laundry room and a kitchen with sinks, kettle microwave and TV which is handy if you take as long as me to do the chores. The only small point I would make is that for anyone who is not so mobile the block is up a steepish slope. There is an nice little playground for the youngsters and a fenced in tarmacadam football pitch which would be brilliant for 5 a side footie. The site has wonderful views over the Lough to Southern Ireland. As someone who comes from Bonnie Scotland I have got to say it is very beautiful, even by our standards.
For those who like to mess about on the water there is a very handy slipway for launching your craft.
I believe that the owners may consider increasing the size of the park and I hope that they do otherwise we might have to book too far in advance.
The area has many attractions and we liked the town of Enniskillen but did not have time to do the area justice in the four days that we were there.
We will definitely return to this site so that we can explore County Fermanagh in a bit more depth.

We stayed here for two weeks after other NI caravanner's recommended it to us. We also met the owner at our local Holiday World exhibition earlier in the year. He was very friendly and we were looking forward to our visit.
The site lived up to all our expectations. Beautiful views, well kept site, 24 level pitches and very well looked after toilet block. It is a good bit off the road and has a good wide tarmac road right through the park.
Situated right on Upper Lough McNean with views across the mountains, each spacious site is fully serviced with enough room to pitch your awning on the cement alongside your van or on the grass if you prefer and park your car behind. There are also some good tent spaces on a flat area next to the toilet block.
There is a modern, well looked after toilet block with free hot showers, good kitchen with excellent notice board covering the local weather, cinema times, nearby attractions etc, laundry and sluice round the back. They are cleaned every day. There are recycling facilities on site too.
There is plenty to keep children amused including a great play area, table tennis and football area. There is plenty of space for bikes and running around. They are also in the process of finishing off what looks like a tennis court. There are picnic tables down beside the lough and you can fish off the jetty.
There is so much to do in Fermanagh and across in Cavan, Leitrim and Sligo etc, I’m afraid it would take forever to get it all down here. Suffice to say our two weeks were filled and we could have stayed longer, especially on this very, very nice site!
The owners are very friendly and helpful and even called in to see us during our second week to see if we were enjoying ourselves and if everything was OK.
In Enniskillen (approx 12miles along main roads) there is a 24hr Tesco and other good shops and in Belcoo and Blacklion there are takeaways, restaurants, small supermarkets and a good petrol station. It’s a good idea to bring some Euro with you but both villages will accept either currency.
We will definitely be back next summer; I just wish it was a bit nearer home so we could get a few weekends in too! All in all an excellent site, I have no negative comments whatsoever!

WoW! A small site in an idyllic location, immaculate facilities including a microwave in the campers kitchen. Everything absolutely spotless - toilets and showers are almost too good to use.
The site's on a steep slope and the one complaint is that there's very little space for tents. There's a flattened section up at the top of the hill with room for maybe 3 family tents, and there's some space down at the lough shore with the flies, but otherwise nowhere for comfortable pitching - and the car parking is a wee walk away which isn't great since we keep our fridge in the car.
If you're in a caravan you're sorted with hard pitches and electric and all.
A very well looked after wee site in an awesome location with unbelievable views of the lough.

While staying in Fermanagh last year we called into Rushin House to have a sneaky look around, we were greeted immediately by the owner of the site. He showed us around, told us of the history of the area, how he planned the park and what his plans were for the future. A really friendly guy, his wife joined us and she too was very friendly and welcoming. We immediately booked this Easter trip and a further week in August.
When we arrived on this trip again we were greeted by the owner, he walked us to our chosen pitch offering any help and assistance that he could. We actually forgot our waste master and he rang around local merchants to find us a longer waste hose, he couldn't have been more helpful. The night before we left he called at our van, asked if we enjoyed our stay and again told us some fascinating local history, including the nearby Holy Well, blessed by St Patrick which flows the coldest water in Ireland!
Onto the site itself, in the most beautiful location of Belcoo, on the border of Southern Ireland and the village of Blacklion. The site overlooks Lough McNean which has a sculpture trail and numerous walks and picnic areas. The site is laid out with 24 very spacious level pitches, all fully serviced; pitches are actually 36 feet long.
The facilities are perfect, showers hot, free and spotlessly clean, the amenity block can only be described as pristine. The kitchen is well equipped as is the laundry room. Lots of local information leaflets are available. The children’s play park is suitable for younger children, but there is a small football pitch and table tennis on offer. There are picnic tables down by the lake with resident swans that will feed from your hand.
There is a free taxi service from the local pubs and restaurants back to the park and many local businesses offer discounts. The village of Belcoo is friendly, with a lovely park and trail along the Lough.
This really is the perfect site if you are after peace and quite, beautiful views, friendly owners and top class facilities. This little gem is soon to be so popular you'll need to join a waiting list!

Been to your site in July. Very impressed, owners were more than helpful. Facilities were excellent. Everything was near hand, e.g. Water tap and hookup. Toilet blocks were immaculate as was the wash room. Loved that it had a microwave that was handy for heating food up for the kids. Playground was good for small children although there wasn't very much for older children. The lake was a good way of keeping the children entertained out of the caravan and we spend many hours down there enjoying ourselves. The site was close by to shops and restaurants where you could get a variety of food. The locals were very friendly and were willing to help out where possible. Can't wait to return. I would recommend this site to anyone and they will not be disappointed.

This is a lovely brand new site right in the shores of Lough MacNean. There are 24 fully serviced hard standing pitches for Caravans. The toilet block is beautiful and there is a separate disabled toilet/shower. There is also a lovely kitchen area for wet weather campers. The only down side of the toilet block is the hill it is on but there is room for people who find it difficult to drive up to it and park. I have no doubt this will become a very popular site. The park is within one mile of the border to the Republic of Ireland and this gives an opportunity for different experiences to Northern Ireland. These include lower fuel prices and the use of Euros instead of Sterling. There are many good visits within 20 miles including the Marble Arch Caves, National Trust properties and the world famous Belleek Pottery.
