 Site consists of 2 fairly large sloping fields. At the time of our visit the site was quiet, and we managed to find a level pitch, but would have struggled had there been more campers.
Very friendly staff, but only sales were logs & cold beer! might be an idea to sell some eggs milk etc.
The ablutions were very basic. 2 building site style portaloos for gents, with the tiniest wash basins, 1 shower. No proper hand washing facilities. Ladies much better, with plumbed toilets & shower & 2 hand basins. No washing up facilities.
We would return, but would use the site much more if the sanitation was improved.

We have just returned from spending a lovely weekend at Great Buckhurst Camp site.
The site was easy to find and consisted of 2 fields, one reserved for families of young children and one for larger parties.
The owners were friendly, keen to help and very approachable should you experience any problem.
The facilities were on the basic side but ok!
The Beach is 5 miles away!
We had a great time!
