 This is a lovely site with great facilities and conveniently located. I think everything has been said in the previous review, except that on arrival, we were given a map of four local walks and information on the nearest shops, which was very useful. We also found the ground where we were was a little stony. However, the site is also surrounded by trees so is quite sheltered.

We found the site easily following the brown tourist sites.
We were part of a group of 4 tents and had a very large area set aside for us. The owner was very friendly and on site for most of the day keeping the site clean and tidy.
The toilet block is kept exceptionally clean and consists of 2 family shower rooms and then separate female facilities with 1 toilet, 1 shower / sink / toilet cubicle and 1 disabled toilet and the same set up was in the mens too apparently. Both have 1 sink in the central area with a toddler step-up box. Showers are great - electric so no cold showers at all.
2 outside washing up sinks at the side of the toilet block area which never ran out of hot water either.
The camping area is set up a slope which has a short bit of tarmacked road which is great for scooters etc!
The tent area itself is relatively flat but close to the fence found the area a little stony and solid so recommend a mallet to get pegs into the ground.
Only negative is the traffic noise which doesn't ease off much at night.
