Returned from five nights at this nice little site. Owners Stan and Sarah very helpful and welcoming. Toilet and shower very clean and certainly fit for purpose. Elsan point and rubbish bins next to toilet block. Hard standings with water per pitch and EHU. Paving slab in grass for BBQ along with a picnic table. Farmers shop within walking distance. Worth the £16. 00 per night fee. Will be returning.
A lovely site within easy reach of the A1. All pitches hardstanding and fully serviced. Shower and toilet facilities were very clean. A lot of care has gone into this site and it shows. Grass was well kept and owner very friendly, even writing down directions for us to get back to A1 to avoid a long diversion because of roadworks. Would definitely return if travelling north again.
Had a lovely 5 days on the site. Pitches all hard standing and fully serviced and very spacious. Toilet block clean and tidy and shower working. Well worth £15 a night for a serviced pitch.
Could be better. 5 hardstandings all with own tap and waste and hook up. Road/track around made of black crusher run, not pleasant to look at, although the pitches themselves were nice clean chippings. Toilet and shower in small portacabin which has no path to it. grass left quite long so feet soaked to access the portacabin only to find the shower out of order (not mentioned by owner when she collected money and no price reduction). Chemical disposal and waste bins located next to portacabin. £15 per night seems expensive to me for this.
