 Excellent site, beautiful new facilities, very helpful and friendly owners. Swimming pool was gorgeous and a welcome relief from the hot weather. Lovely children's play area. Lots to see and do in the area if you like the great outdoors. Lovely walks to the riverside where our dog enjoyed swimming. Good dog walk on site. All in all a great and memorable holiday in one of the best camp sites that we have stayed in and we do a lot of touring. Will certainly be going back soon.

Every thing about this site was perfect for us. The entire site was very clean and tidy, the new toilet and shower block was excellent even down to the background music. The pool was excellent for my husband and 4 year old and I enjoyed lying on the sun lounger beside it! The owners were really kind and helpful, even down to helping us reverse the caravan as we are learners. It is the perfect central site for many trips out. We will deffinatly be returning.

Spent four nights at this site last week, using their special mid week offer, they have just opened for the new season and, although the work was still in progress, it didn't interfere with our stay, the previous comments all mentioned the toilet block, I will agree with them all (OUTSTANDING)although the weather was changeable, we managed to get around and I was very taken with the city of Wells.
Back at the site I have one criticism, whether it was because we had the midweek offer or not, we were put on the top oaks level at the very top row, it was a windy pitch, and because of the prevailing direction all the time we were there, I didn't put my porch awning up, it was also a sloping pitch, there were other empty (level)pitches but I thought they were pre booked, which they weren't and were empty all week, as I had set everything up we sat it out for the 4 nights.
That niggle apart, I will go back but hopefully on a different area lower down the park

Wonderful friendly site with small but well heated pool. The owner offered to help me sort my caravan out as I (female) was travelling by myself (with dog), being independent I declined! Clean toilets and showers and good dog walking area. You must try their own Peppered Minute Steak, if there's any left in the freezer!

This is a very attractively laid out site with a few hard standings but mainly grass pitches. It would benefit from one or two more taps and disposal points though. The owners are lovely friendly and obliging people, and the facilities are kept very clean, but they are not the best and could do with a complete rebuild as they are getting left behind what is provided on other sites these days.

Lovely gem of a campsite, Dog friendly, great for exploring the moors and only 6 miles away from Teignmouth. Supermarkets within a short drive and if you want more then Trago Mills in only a mile away. We loved this site it was reasonable quiet as not during school hols and the addition of the Pool was very welcome to cool off on the extremely hot days we had during our stay. Great that on arrival we could walk round without the caravan and choose which pitch we preferred. There was a mixture of hard standing and grassed pitches some slopping but others on little plateau's surrounded by trees, caravans campers and tents could pitch up together so a nice mix of people. Facilities were great never had to queue but this wasn't during school hols so would probably be busier then. The owners Andrew and Clare were lovely and always had time to stop and chat. Would recommend the site if you like a peaceful setting as there are no main roads close by. Will definitely return now we have found you. Thanks for a lovely stay.

A pleasant site by the side of a working farm.
Fine facilities away from peak season; have never been in peak to see how they cope.
Toilets and showers always clean and fresh.
Good hardstanding pitches for the damper months.
Servicing etc available from caravan workshop 'next door'.
Friendly and helpful staff with lots of countryside savvy.
Excellent access to moors for easy or more demanding walks.
Excellent access to coast too for all-year seaside walks, coastal paths etc.

Stayed here for the weekend. Lovely quiet little site. The pitch we had was sloping and we had to borrow some wood to level the jockey wheel as I didn't have enough, but this was a minor thing and there are plenty of level pitches ( if they available).
Kids enjoyed feeding the hens and enjoyed the pool, which was a lovely addition. Don't get caught breaking the pool rules though. The owner will be on your case!
All in all a very good little campsite which we will book again. Conveniently located just 10 mins from the A38. Just a word of warning, don't take the route along the unclassified road leading towards the farm that our sat nav took us. It's only 1/2 mile long and I risked it, luckily didn't meet other traffic & it was just wide enough! If coming from the A38 take the road signed to Teigngrace!

This is quite a nice site but very, very busy! They appear to run a strange system as even if you specify a certain type of pitch when booking, it depends what's available upon your arrival! We were a little unlucky as whilst we were there half a dozen families arrived with large tents and loads of hyperactive children - hence the toilets and showers were usually awash with abandoned toilet paper and water! We gave up and decided to use our own facilities on this occasion. A great pity as this could be a good site if the owners were a little more diligent.

A pleasant site in easy reach of shops in Newton Abbot. Care is needed on the approach road which is quite narrow. Ideal for a family holiday, with a very nice swimming pool area.
The shower and toilet area in the main block were fine and there is an additional smaller facility which I chose not to use because of the mess fellow campers left behind.
The owners were friendly and helpful, and if reception is closed they are available at the house at the end of the drive.
The majority of pitches were on grass and slightly sloping. Not many were suitable for large motorhomes. We would happily stay here again.
