 Spent a night on this site. Whilst the views were amazing, the facilities were located at some distance away. The owners have been doing some work to upgrade the facilities; toilet block and washing up shelter. If you are camped up on the higher terraces, the walk to the facilities is still a modest distance.
The charge for a lone individual for a small tent for one night seemed a bit steep at £12

Visited over May Bank Holiday for a long weekend with friends. It is a very steep site and it was quite wet when we arrived. WE pitched right at the top and were happy if a little wet. When our friends arrived a little later they were put off by the spaces available which were difficult to negotiate and they decided to try somewhere else.
It can be a bit tricky and we did have to leave our car at the bottow at one point. However, I am always up for a challenge and the views were spectacular. We were in a small tent with our 8mth old daugther and it was a tight squeeze but it was a lovely site to just chill out in.
We spent some time in Fairbourne - love the beach as spent many a childhood there. Also ventured to Barmouth which is more commercialised but great for the kids.
Overall, a nice little site if you're prepared to rough it a bit.
