Nice campsite - we were lucky enough to have great weather, found the clubhouse a bit noisy (only due to the loudness of the hostesses!), pool was too small, but shower block and toilet block was very clean. Only problem was the key system - a bit awkward in the dark and if the kids had gone to the loo and you wanted to have a shower.
Nearby pubs (walking distance) were great for food and entertainment.
Widemouth bay was fantastically flat but access was by steps only and there was a lot of rocks. We were fortunate enough to sample Cornish hot weather and "glass-like" seas......
Give it a visit. Hilly and a couple of miles outside Bude.
