 Nice quiet little site next to a working farm 2 1/4 miles up a mostly single track road from Largs. One small field set aside for 5 caravan club members. Another 2 small fields for other caravans. The loos are a short walk over the road and through the car park of the B & B. Nice and clean, hot adjustable showers. £10.00 per night with EHU, very good value. Would come again.

Very peaceful campsite. My nine year old daughter and I spent 2 nights here (Friday/Saturday) and thouroughly enjoyed our stay. The facilities are basically one toilet and one shower but this wasn't a problem at all, because by the Saturday we were the only tent on the site. There were a few tourers on the adjoining field and also the area which was next to the farm, but we never had to hang around much for the facilities.
The pitch itself was on a bit of a slope but if you camp up the top of the hill it does flatten out a little. I recommend taking a walk along the road heading East (away from Largs) the countryside is sublime, and there is a real sense of quietness and escape from the hustle and bustle of modern life.
Largs itself, only a couple of miles down the road, has just about everything you would want, swimming pool (Vikingar) promenade, amusements, fairground (basic), shops, there is a Morrisons supermarket which is very good, and I would highly recommend the green shutters restaurant, run by the famous Nardinis, for a fabulous fish tea very resonably priced. But the place to go has to be Kelburn country estate just outside Largs towards Fairlie. This is the most enchanting glen, castle, secret forest, adventure playground you are ever likely to visit, don't go to Largs without spending a day here, it's amazing!
The campsite itself as I say is excellent, no frills just peace and quiet and beautiful countryside, and by the way, the burn at the top of the hill where we pitched provides the perfect lullaby for a good nights kip!

This is a small farm site set in a lovely part off the countryside just 5 min drive from the seaside town of largs. It has 2 toilet and shower blocks and they are very clean and warm the dish washing area is here as well there is also a B&B on site.
There are some nice walks as well we saw some deer and a couple of buzzards so not bad for a bit of wildlife spotting.Largs is also very nice with plenty to do from shopping to swimming and ten pin bowling and plenty of places to eat and go for a drink can also take the ferry to Cumbrae and to the village of Millport.
The only down point with the site is the back fields are quite hilly not perfect for tents so ask for the front field that was a lot more level.

Booked at last minute and were made very welcome. Weather was a bit rubbish but did not stop us having a good weekend.
They could do with a bigger shower and toilet block, one shower and one toilet was not sufficient. If the weather had been really good and there were a lot more people staying could have been a problem, but very clean can't complain on that issue. Did breakfast on the sunday morning and and Whoah! what a breakfast it was. The best £7.50 every spent, have never had a variety or quantity like it, did not need anything else to eat until tea time. Will definitely be back to take advanage of the lovely walks we were told of.

Really friendly people run this very quiet site just out of Largs. Great pitch prices, TV aerial connection, electric hook up and awning included. Field is quite steep, but some effort has been made to level off pitches. A great peaceful site. We will certainly be returning.

Very helpful and lovely scenery. Sound of the burn running beside the campsite is very soothing.
We only stayed for one night but will definately be back.
